That is why there was an Ekiti Parapo war in the 19 century. Ekiti seceeded from the Old Oyo Empire thereby removing itself from the control of the Oyo Monarchy. In reality, the Alaafin overstepped his boundary. Like the Alawe said, this is an in-house dispute and it ought to be settled as such.
