NOT SURPRISED!! LAGOSIANS JUST EXPERIENCED A SINISTER OF AN ATOMIC BOMB EXPLOSION.

I SAW A VIDEO ON HOW THE GAS WAS GUSHING OUT THROUGH THE PIPE UNDER A POWERFUL PRESSURE BEFORE THE EXPLOSION TOOK PLACE. AFTER WATCHING THE VIDEO THE THOUGHT OF WHAT MUST HAVE HAPPENED CAME TO MY MIND.

THE WHOLE INCIDENT HAPPENED SIMILAR TO HOW ATOMIC BOMB THEORETICALLY OPERATES. THIS IS WHAT MUST HAVE HAPPENED..

THE WHOLE AREA KILOMETERS AWAY TO ANYWHERE THE GAS IS CARRIED TO BY AIR IS MARKED ENDANGERED ZONE. THE WHOLE AREA THE GAS SPREADS TO BECOMES AN ENVELOPE OF GAS OF CYLINDER ITSELF.

THIS IS MORE DEADLY BECAUSE IT MIXES WITH OXYGEN IN THE ATMOSPHERE COUPLED WITH CONFINED ENVELOPE OF CONTAINER ( THE WHOLE AREA THE GAS SPREADS TO UNDER REGULATED ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE AUTOMATICALLY BECOMES A CONTAINER WHERETHE REACTION WOULD TAKE PLACE)

WHEN AN IGNITION SETS IN THE FIRE WOULD BURN THROUGH THE GAS PARTICLES PRESENT IN THE AIR SPREAD ABOUT THE AREA. IF IT SPREADS 20 KM AWAY THE FIRE AND ENERGY RELEASED (WAVE ) AFTER IGNITION WOULD TRACE THE POCKET OF GAS MIXED WITH OXYGEN IN FEW SECONDS ACCOMPANYING WITH A POWER EXPLOSION. THE ENERGY IS RELEASED IN FORM OF WAVE AND BURNING FIRE. THE WAVE IN THIS KIND OF SITUATION IS ALWAYS POWERFUL THAT IT CAN BRING DOWN BUILDINGS.

THE BUILDINGS YOU SEE COLLAPSED MUST HAVE BEEN SURROUNDED BY THESE PARTICLES OF GAS MARKED TO BE UNDER THE ENVELOPE OF SHOCKWAVE.

IT WILL TAKE A MIRACLE FOR THE LADY EPORTING IN THAT VIDEO OR PEOPLE PASSING BY TO HAVE SURVIVED IF THERE WAS AN IGNITION AT THAT MOMENT.
GAS EXPLOSION IS 100% MORE DEADLY THAN LIQUID FUEL E.G PETROL KIND OF EXPLOSION.

DID YOU TAKE YOUR TIME TO READ MY POST ATALL? WHO IS COMPARING THE IMPACT OF ATOMIC BOMB WITH THE INCIDENT ON GROUND? I ONLY ANALYSED THE SCIENCE OF HOW THE SADDENED INCIDENT MUST HAPPENED TO ANSWER THE MANY QUESTIONS PEOPLE ARE ASKING.
Atomic bombs work due to chain reactions and conversion of very little matter to energy.

Gas explosions are as a result of the rapid volume expansion of gas due to increased temperature.

These are completely different things in scientific theory.

Atomic bombs do not require prior exposure to the environment to explode.

Firstly who allowed people to build here where a high pressure gass pipeline passed ?

People have build why not stop using this line n redirect the pipeline through that rice ?

If this is a pipeline explosion where is the hole ripped along the pipeline ?

A pipeline explosion of this strength would bring out 100s of meters of pipeline from the ground it was buried
same thing bothering my mind. An explosion of such magnitude should create a large crater and expose some pipes underground. I also heard that there was gas around the area too.

This seems like a terrorist attack just to test how effective their plans and weapon could be.

Lagos, be watchful !!!

People should not use those pics of dirty streets to represent Aba tomorrow grin.

On a more serious note, this kind explosion that shattered roofs of houses far from the scene no be here oh... Once I witnessed the collapsed of a storey building, sound felt like the end of the world... Now compare with this! God, continue to protect your people.

Most of the problems we have in this country is mostly caused by the people. I grew up seeing NNPC pipelines right of way as expanse of land. Overtime people started encroaching and finally, in some places, completely built on top. You don't need the government to tell you not to build on such spaces. U need common sense. People are building under power grids. People are building over canals. When the pipes explodes, when the electric cable cuts, when the area is flooded, we start blaming Govt. Right now, we're blaming Buhari for all our problems. Noooo. Blame the educated ones who refused to vote an alternative on the day of elections but rather stayed at home to collate results on TV and blame the ignorant ones that sold their future for 2,000 naira.

All those areas are laden with NNPC pipelines and I wonder why
What you should wonder is why are people building houses above a gas pipeline. These pipes have been there for donkey years, they go around bribing the local government and state government to give them permission to build their houses there, yet they know vividly well that there are gas pipelines below..........

Those pipelines were long there before landowners sold those lands to unsuspecting victims. It was a disaster waiting to happen.

Not what we presently have in Nigeria, peace WITHOUT JUSTICE. PEACE IN SPITE OF CONSTANT PROVOCATIONS BY FULANI AND GOVERNMENT ASSISTED MISCREANTS. PEACE THAT LOOKS LIKE WAR.

War isn't always evil my friend. I would rather die than suffer as a slave all my life, Freedon is never given on a platter of gold. The Joy the Americans enjoy today is because they fought the British and many people died for the greater good in that war. Many people died in the second world War so peace could exist , I can go on and on. So some wars are good, some wars are bad.
But peace still does not exist.

The world saw what devastation war brings hence the creation of the UN to ensure that the world never have to go to such madness again.

That means you already know what the case is here, seriously nobody wants war but with what is going on it's obvious that people will wake up one day and do the unthinkable.

The statement from NNPC was the pipe valve(that extended part of a pipeline above ground) was hit by a trailer. The person must have been explaining it from her perspective.

Thanks boss.
The joy and freedom that black Americans and Africans in America enjoy today was because some people refused to be cowed into eternal servitude of whites, which is what the south is being made to do in Luggard's 1914 contraption called the Fulani Republic of Naijeriya, FRN.

This is nothing compare to what Borno people are experience on weekly bases.

This may not be what we were told it is.
This look more like bomb explosion than gas pipeline explosion.
I wonder why it happened in a residential area nd on Sunday when people will be at home relaxing.

God help us.
Rip to the deads
Gas was leaking first na.

Combined with petrol pipeline .

The area was never a residential zone. But trust Nigerians to build house anyhow m
