My friend brought this device from his work place and we are unable to know what it is or how its used.

The device has just a charging port and no button.
its a Nokia product

Nigerian people with "make I kpake am before another person take am" mentality.

It is not as if your so-called friend truly has a need for the device oh.

That Innate characteristic of waste in him like most of us just clicked in and he decided to take it home.

This is the same way our politicians steal and amass even what they completely have no need for out of sheer greed.

Plug the device and place a Nokia phone on it.

There is a device on Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 called Lens. When you click the App,it opens like camera,just place your phone camera on any device you want to know about,and click. It will bring out details about the device. I tried on my my Samsung home theatre remove. It brought up it's picture and details.

OP should advise his "friend" to return the charger to his office.
