Welcome bro.
You can get boreholes in many parts of Enugu town, but it's not easy to prospect. I have seen people get boreholes at Golf estate, around Abakpa T junction and other places. Cost is about N15m.

Owerri and Enugu have almost same construction costs. I am working in both cities now.

Local rods. Yes you can use the same rods in solid lands like this one.

Owerri is looking good now, lots of good lands around N5m in Orji, Irete, Naze and Uratta areas.

Please, I'll really appreciate if I can have an estimate, an idea of how much it'll cost to complete a 9- storey version of this project i.e. 20 units of 2 bedroom flats, with 2 units per floor.

Going by your budget estimate of this project on the first page (N18M) which is N6M per floor, will it be wise to put the budget estimate for the 9 storey version at N60M (N6M per floor multiplied by 10 floors)?

That's interesting. I am yet to see a 9 storey residential in Nija. Dont get me wrong, am just curious sir. How would people climb up a 9 storey building daily. May be a lift will be built in. How about 247 power supply in nija that will operate the lift ?

Am just curious, who ever that has a better idea should educate me please.

No, it cannot be calculated like that. When we talk of a high rise like a 9 storey building, a lot of other consideration comes into play. The method of construction, materials, and especially the plans needs to change to support the height of the structure. It might be much more than the amount you mentioned.

Yes, a lift is an indispensable part of a high rise building like the one he is describing. And in the present day Nigeria with very limited or no power supply, a lift is a no no in a private housing arrangement in most cities in Nigeria. People may not afford the rent because of the very high cost of operating the building.
