India already had the virus from China as at January. Tell us when they banned flights entirely from China....
And I don't understand the useless travel ban they imposed on Italians or foreign nationals who traveled to Italy when their own citizen can still bring in the virus from Italy just like the first case they got from Italy. A 3 year old Indian still brought in Corona virus from Italy to India as at March 7th sef.

By the way, as for the rest, when you're comparing, tell us the first case of Corona virus there & when they banned flights from all countries with high numbers of cases, not just from Italy. Don't just give us dates to suit your argument.

Every case of this virus that was recorded in this country are avoidable ,but due to the irresponsive of this irresponsible government . When countries are closing their borders, ours is opening camp . By now all our borders should have been closed ,all schools closed (especially primary schools ),medical team on red alert .God will help us and let all us be careful . The young American citizen had a carer meaning he has some underlying health condition.

People need to stop travelling about anyway. Atimes, I feel these people are deliberately coming in to spread the disease in Africa. We all know to avoid travelling.
Elderly people should isolate themselves from others and their family members should help drop food and essential supplies for them outside their doors.
Unecessary social gatherings should be avoided, owambes , weddings and the different parties
Banks, and offices who offer public services should have sanitizers and instructions at their front doors for customers. People should do more online/mobile transactions
