A lot of reasons.

1. You get to see intended destination.

2. 20% commission. You earn more on bolt. Drivers only earn on uber wen ders surge.

3.. 40% cancelation allowance

4.Leniency of the bolt team. Except you are really fraudulent., if the app yanks you off cos of rating. If you go to their lekki office n state your case, you will be absorbed back. Though it mite take some tym.

I CNT joke. Wt No1.

5.
In addition: Bolt's destination feature is more responsive than Uber.

UBER lacks all of the above mentioned points.

Did you say you earn more driving with bolt? I dont think i would want to agree with you on this.

The other day Romoe3 said one can groose 35k daily driving with bolt, na so my longerthroat long and since I didn't work Mon-Wed that particular week I said let me give bolt a try as my 3% after 20 trips on uber would be like a waste of energy.
Thursday all tru I did bolt, continued friday. 12noon I checked my pocket na only 3k dey, fuel in tank was below half I just dey vex... Switched over to uber immidiately, b4 Saturday 4pm the next day I'd already completed my 20 trips. Monday the following week uber credited my account with about 10k.
I was able to pay my 25k weekly rental just within 12noon Friday and still had some money left to spend for myself and family.

Now Tell me, would I had met up my target with bolt within this short period? Obviously NO!

You c money on your dashboard driving with bolt but you truly can't account for it but with uber its totally difference.

Kindly throw more light on No.3 because I really don't understand what you mean by 40% cancellation allawee.

Then you're right with your other submit. I givebthem 100% on those.

Nevertheless, I still believe uber is way better when compare to bolt.

I am an experienced uber driver, residing in Ikeja.
Looking for a good rental deal, assurance deposit of N100k to N200k avaiable, depending on the condition of the vehicle.
Weekly remittance of N25k.
Lets move Lagos forward.

Be guided please. You dont need to drop 10pk or 200k for rental unless you're looking for HP deal.

Why are you bothered about lecturing drivers which is better? I understand those that have been blocked on Uber but having both apps and wasting energy on that useless bolt is a useless effort.
While they are still chasing 30-40 trips, I have already completed my 20 trips which are mostly always done by Tues afternoon.
They keep saying there are lesser trips on Uber but here I am with over 380 trips from Feb 1st till now even with several days of no work.

Today I felt like AngryIgboMan. I went to mile 12 from Alapere and while going, a bike man hit me from behind, he was following me bumper to bumper and when I applied brakes, he hit me and ran away, by the time i checked, minor scratches on the tail. Coming back, same scenario, this time the clips of the tail came out with a major scratch.

The sanity in island and places where these bikes have been banned is priceless. Keke Marwa are also proving nuts.
This is one of the reasons I avoid mainland. Gbas gbos everywhere.

Not every one is block on Uber all we are saying is the freedom using bolt app compare to Uber. I still use Uber only for destination trip that's if they allow me that my work for today and 4pm am home. Mind you on Monday I made good money on Uber because I monitor where I am if there is surge I go online

They will all sell at 145 until they have drawn down. 125 is below the cost they bought from depots. Of course if it had been a price increase, they would have increased price immediately.

Even most of those NNPc are unlikely to drop their price as they are just branded franchisees who also paid for the product in their tanks. It is what it is

Sorry about your ordeal bro. If you have been following the tips given here on this thread you may have not encountered such an experience.

Why on earth will you accept a trip towards adeniji adele arouynd that time?

Probably I must have missed that part of information that I must avoid such places at that time of the day.

Thank you brotherly

Im sorry for that ugly experience bro.

I don't go island anything after 5/6pm, no matter how tempting that trip is. My Only night trips are within ikeja and environs and then head home peacefully by 9/10pm.

Lesson learnt and I pray we all remain save no matter the location.

Much love bro.

The hard truth is that traffic robberies are crimes of opportunity. Just about anyone will do them. Anywhere in Lagos where there is a traffic jam, at any time of the day, the youths or mechanics or Villa users or Alaaru can start attacking people. I have experienced it around mile2 five star, Orile, before 2nd rainbow. I have seen it at cms. The only thing required is a hold up. You need paranoia, and so do your riders. When riding with my kids , once we enter a traffic jam and I see loiterers I tell them to put away all their devices. I am sorry for your experience. Stay safe and try to avoid any hold ups.

Mile 2, Alakija, infact anywhere that has queues for trucks and trailers is most like to be a robber's den

Abiola gardens at Alapere

Gbagada(That dark bend to Bariga)

beauty about bolt is that you complete 40 trips on Thursday's and you have Fri, sat and Sunday to make a killing, usually BTW 60 - 75k and pay only 5 or 8%.

Mind you, bolt fares are higher.

kintus:
Hello guys.

To let you guys know of my bad experience yesterday 18.03.2020 during a BOLT ride.

Picked up a rider at Alakija at about 7:30PM heading to Adeniji. Lagos Island, just five minutes into driving we were held in a thick traffic created by tanker and container trucks.

Just before we could get to Mashalachi junction, two able bodied men crossed over from the other side and started flashing torchlight into the car. Before we knew it, the driver window side was hit by a heavy object and the glasses was all over my body. Traces of blood was seen on body especially my hand.

Unfortunately, the rider 2 phones, 1 iPad, apple wrist watch, wallet and money was taken away from him.

Those thieves also went ahead to attack the car ahead of us. We were all helpless, even the presence of truck drivers was of no value as we expected a support from them.

Made a report to Bold through the app on support and got a call this morning from BOLT. According to the customer care, BOLT will NOT be able to do anything for the following reasons;
1. I was not registered for the BOLT shield.
MY ADVICE: Guys, if you can afford it, please do it. You won't know the importance until days like this.

2. My third party insurance can only over cover if another car was involved.

I continued with the trip because I had no other option but to drive him to his destination. Although on getting to Apple junction I ended the trip in other to keep my phone off sight.

Please lets be careful as we go about our daily routine and avoid some roads at night.

God bless the road.

This is about doing what suits you.
I have an active bolt account but stopped working with it after making enumerations of the disadvantages attached to working on bolt, I decided to work only with the app that gives a peace of the mind.
I can't display what I make here but I believe there are people who work smartly and not running around the whole state believing they are moving lagos. The highest surge on taxify is 1.9 while I have taken 3.~ severally on Uber, and an average surge I chase on Uber is 2 and above.

How can you compare 5% with 3% that has been making several killing right from Tuesday to Sunday (count it and see that's a whole 5 days of lesser stress).
You also said bolt fares are higher?
Riders claim bolt is cheaper while drivers say bolt pays higher, now tell me who is the serpent deceiving both parties and that is one of the reasons (bolt is deceitful) I dumped them.
Surge only makes their fares defer but same when no surge.
( Uber: 11/min, 60/km, 200 base fare) (bolt: 10/min, 65/km, 200km base fare). I would like to know the difference on a 20km trip.

Like I said earlier that it is whatever rocks your boat.

I bought at oando on awolowo road today, will have to look for oando for the next top-up as they are the only one selling at that price now. I entered a filling station but didn't stop immediately I saw the price unit on their pump was still 145.

Nigerians or our leaders , keep telling us different stories.2day no subsidy 2mro increase subsidy

If you think they can sell at those prices a product they sold for more than that, was refined and sold back to them without a subsidy, whatever you say you are right.
