The generationbof bad ones are gradually disappearing.

A day will come when we'll have only graduates in the force.
the problem with Nigeria is more of character, not certificate.

You think there are no crooked graduates? lipsrsealed

Clearly you have not been to the immigration office in Port Harcourt - all graduates, all thieves.

And you have forgotten about your useless political class.

Or your avaricious lecturers - those ones aren't graduates?

Why do you people think like retarded goats?

I think Akwa Ibom State Police force are very good in quick response and in crime detection, my NYSC place of primary assignment then was in Akwa Ibom Police headquarters, Criminal Investigation and intelligence department. I really had a great experience serving in criminal investigation and intelligence department as a graduate of criminology and security studies. they are a lot of cases like that and they were able to handle it on time. The then CP and PPRO were wonderful. kudos to NPF Akwa State.

Uyo is a calm and beautiful city. All these illiterate cultists should not turn it into an insecure place. If Nigeria was a civilized society without tribalism, places like Uyo, Enugu and Gombe are where I would like to stay. The stress in this Lagos is too much
Are they jobs in UYO ?

I too witnessed the better side of them today, this morning. I was going to Osogbo from Ibadan. The bus I took had challenges with passengers so he kept stopping here and there to fill in some vacant spaces. When we got to Ikoyi or maybe Ikire axis, two passengers alighted and a boy; very young (I must say entered. There was an empty space beside me, the boy came but went straight to the back, he sat close to the bus window, right beside an elderly man. The car zoomed off and was later stopped by the police at one of the numerous checking points. One of them instructed the driver (as if he knew or had an inkling something was wrong) asked the driver to open his boot. The driver obliged without hesitation. He was not satisfied he turned from the road and started scrutinizing the passengers with his stoic unreadable glances. When he kept looking at me, I was confused but didn't fidget. Thank God I didn't hold more than a jotter, a pen and my phone; all of which I held in my grips. He immediately left my side and switched briskly to the new the boy that entered last and ordered " You come down! and with your bag too." Everyone's mouth was agape. The boy grudginly alighted but not with his bag (his bag was still on his seat (a school bag o).
The policeman, like a miracle moved to where the boy sat, after removing the bag unearth a well knit nylon bag cleanly kept under the chair.

the nylon was pried open and inside were bundles of tramadol and codeine. When the boy denied having knowledge of how it got there, we all knew we were in for some trouble. his bag was open and more were found inside.

I have been a very strong critic of the Nigerian Police especially the SARS division, as seen in the link below.
https://www.nairaland.com/4556173/sars-nigerian-society

I've always felt that nothing good can come out of the Nigerian Police and their hearts is as black as their uniforms.
But Something happened yesterday that made me have hope in the Nigerian Police.
A friend reached out to me that she was kidnapped by some cultists in Akwa Ibom(Ikot Ekpene).
She was smart enough to send me her location via whatsapp.
I went on Twitter and contacted @PoliceNG_CRU.
They swiftly sent me a DM and asked I call them on 08057000002.
I did and they sent a DPO on survaliance of the area last night to map it out and this morning the girl was rescued and the guys arrested.

Please if you have any emergency call the police via 08057000002.

I am really surprised by their swift response even though it was late at night as well as their professionalism. The guys that handled the call where so polite, calm, patient and professional!

This experience has made me have hope in the Nigerian Police and I must commend them.
I am also very proud of and grateful to them.

Also, Please whenever you find yourself in a compromised situation or environment try to be calm and don't panic.
Try to reach out to those around you and if possible turn on the GPS location on your phone and send an SOS to anyone you feel might be of help or be smart enough to help you contact the right authorities.
Delete bank account informations from your phone and if possible format it.
Pictures and the likes can give you out.
Always store in your memory the phone number of someone you can trust to always look out for you.
Don't travel without informing someone of your journey and destination.
If lodged in a hotel, send the hotel name and room number to someone you can trust.
Be safe, be cautious and be careful.

I've been saved by NPF and have also been bullied by them...depends on the personality. Meanwhile some fruits are going on

Once I was driving in the night with some wraps of SK in my pocket, police men stopped me and was searching my car, I removed the herbs from my pocket and dropped it, a police man saw it and helped me kick it out of sight.
