and it's always better to fill up your tank always. Tends to save more fuel. Fuel from Northwest and petrocam makes engine run better and quieter. Rest are shyt

Only NNPc is bringing petrol into Nigeria. Nobody is importing petrol. The petrol Oando, Enyo, petrochemical, bova are selling is the same petrol brought in by NNPc.

Corona virus is reducing activity in Lagos.

Started my day around 10am after the usual Thursday sanitation. The 1st trip took me to unilag. Na so the movie start ooo.... 2.3x surge around there.... and I waited patiently at fagunwa hall. Bang, a request came; 1.9x 90+ minutes destination trip.
My phone rang afterwards;
Me: hello
Rider: where are you (me wey dey vex for that kind response overlooked because of the superior 1.9x factor)
Me: fagunwa
Rider: ok, I'll be with you in 2 minutes.
Me rush go buy Pepsi and rite..... I look to check the countdown time..... omo I just saw RIDER CANCELED.
Immediately, my phone rang,
Rider: pls sorry I had to cancel because I need to wait for someone.
Me: no wahala.
20 seconds later, another request came and it was same rider but with no surge this time.
Rider: hello, where are you?
Me: same place I told you earlier
Rider: pls come pick me, I'm ready now
Me: (pick kill you there, you use style avoid surge abi) where am I taking you to?
Rider: giwa
Me: where's that?
Rider: after fagba
Me: nibo, I'm not sure i want to start my day with such trip. Pls cancel and reorder.
Rider: it will still bring me to you.
Me: don't worry i already went offline.
Na so I japa.... later got 1.7x to sabo and the rest was history........ found myself in toyin Ikeja.... the major movie show oo.
A trip of 1.2x surge with a yoruba name
Got to the pick up and guess what I saw......
A Chinese oooo, covered with all gadgets and having bags.
For my mind i say yes I yaff enter finally.
I drove close to him and i saw my details on his phone, na there i weak. The 1st thing that came thru m mind was STIGMATIZATION... had to adopt some verses from the holy book and I accepted my fate.
Rider: pls can I keep my stuff at the back?
Me: sure (i started trip and it was VI that i just came from to Ikeja)
Rider; thanks
Me: (grabbed my bottle of sanitizer) do you mind?
Rider: sure
Me: (you for refuse make I change am for you na)

The next thing was, the rider reduced the AC to the minimum saying his not too okay. I swear fear gripped me immediately. I switched of the radio and started monitoring every sound, especially his breathing pattern. I swear his breathing pattern was like that of an owl. He was struggling to breathe.
B4 I got to ziatech road the guy held the left part of his chest. I began to pray inside me oo.
The next thing I heard from him was; after drinking something from a vacuum stainless cup..
Rider: do you have bluetooth?
Me: yes I do. Its x8 you can connect.
To cut all the long story short, I drove on a free 3MB at 70km the max. I was cautious not to swerve the steering wheel so he wont even shift his body.
His cough episodes gave me vibrations that 3310 couldn't compete with. Immediately I dropped him, omo na every 5 mins sanitizer oo. Belt and handles. The only rider I picked afterwards sat at the back and ended the day and washed the car and clean the interior.

May God bless us all.
NB: if you must work, pls be mentally alert and pls be conscious and cautious abeg. The thing real oo.

Nobody should allow himself to be deceived. Uber and Bolt are not mates. Where Uber is, it will take bolt 100 years to get there. Take this from someone that was on the platform for over 4 years.

Uber and Bolt has there pros and cons but Generally, Uber is a thousand miles ahead of Bolt.

Bolt is better if you want to do what I call "rough or street work". This is so because a lot of bolt riders are very useless, untrained girls. So a lot of there drivers too are werey on there own. You change it for them, they change it for you.

Advantages On bolt is that you can cancel at will, curse riders as you wish if they curse you, See riders destination, set destination under surge, get matched to your preferred destination. Bolt also has this advantage of reabsorbing the driver into the system after ejecting you because all they care about is money. Bolt will match you to your exact destination or a related place. They have a serious advantage over Uber in this. On bolt too, you can call customer care to unblock you with a simple explanation. They will unblock you.

The downside of Bolt is Careless Miscalculations, Atines does not add the toll fares, atimes they fix price that whatever you drive is your business... Price will remain same, iddiotic frustrated riders, Very useless app that can frustrate your life, you dare not make or answer call while on a trip else everything will come out at 500, No cancellation fee even if you waited for 30 minutes and rider cancelled, Very useless customer care that will take days or weeks to reply a simple enquiry, useless surge that will never pass 2.1 at most, riders can run away with your money and thats it, riders can report you and you are yanked off the platform without any investigation. etc Funny enough, they will unblock you immediately you beg. Foolish people. It helps though when you a driver that has low tolerance for rubbish like me. grin grin

Uber is better if you want to do disciplined civil work. Uber has a lot of advantages over bolt. Where do I even start? Uber has far more disciplined riders than Bolt. This is 100% fact. On Uber, once you complete 20 trips everything will become 3%. This gives you far more money than bolt can ever give you. Uber also has good customer care that replies you in seconds or minutes, Uber will refund you if a customer really runs away with your money, uber has cancellation fee for some crazy riders that will cancel at the last minute, Uber has surge up to 6.5! This a fact. I have eaten it before. From Ikoyi to Lekki going and coming, a rider payed me over 12k in 20 minutes. This was during Christmas and road was very free oo.

Uber app is the best in the world. It is very Fluid and Stable. If you want, make call from pickup to destination... Price will still be properly calculated. Atimes Uber refunds you if Lastma or Police gives you a fine and you have receipt.

The downsides of Uber is You can't cancel anyhow, you can't see riders destination, you can't set destination under surge (I HATE UBER WITH PASSION FOR THIS), They decide when you go online or offline, They don't forgive once they yank you off the system, They are very strict too.

To cap it up Check real VI, LEKKI, IKOYI, BANANA ISLAND, VGC big men, boys and ladies. They don't use bolt. Only dirty Ejigbo, Idimu, Idi Araba, Igando and Alakija prostitutes use bolt. Also dirty, broke ill mannered lekki runs girls use bolt too.

SO WHICH ONE IS PREFERABLE FOR ME?

BOTH! Depending on the spirit inside me when I wake up. If Satan is at work, I use Bolt. It God is at work, I use Uber. If I want to make mad, untamed money and drive with hatred for black people, I use Bolt. If I want to drive with love and concern for humanity while making clean money, I use Uber.

In Nigeria, nobody is a saint. Everybody is a thief. If you use Bolt, you can make money you didnt work for. On Uber, you can barely do that. This implies that Bolt will help you survive more in a city like Lagos where the average person is a crooked criminal. Bolt is more liable to Sakamanje which means more money. Mileage editing, receipt editing, email spoofing, screenshoting of receipts is more rampant on bolt which means more money. If you try it on Uber, they are catching you that very second due to there top technology.

I remember the early days of Bolt when manipulations was far more easier. One stupid girl was running his mouth like tap water insulting me. I ignored her. I simply used my Lockito and set her pickup as Kano and Destination as Jigawa. When trip ended and I showed her receipt, she shouted Jesus!

Rider: Oga this map shows I was in Kano. When was I Kano?

Me: Nne, you were in Kano whether you like it or not and we are in Jigawa now. You must pay me oo. You are even lucky I did not take you to Japan.

Don't ask me how it finally ended. Chai... I miss Bolt of 2016. When you can take a rider from China to Gabon.

Please, is it illegal to drive with the driving permit issued by driving school.

VIO impounded my vehicle because of that. Please, note that I have already paid for the driver's license and I was asked to come and do capture on Tuesday next week.

Please, does anybody know any contact that can help me get my vehicle out of these guy's hand.

Please, is it the work of VIO to check driver's license

Very funny

I don't even know what to say to you, how logical does it sound to you personally to drive around with a permit from driving school

You have to wait for your capturing to obtain your temporary before you can start driving legally.

Don't tell me you are already driving on any platform yet, if you are, how did you pass through registration without Temporary DL

Have you been on 5% before? It's pretty straight forward.

Take this scenario.

V. I to ikeja @ 5%
Fee- ₦3,000
Bolt-₦150
Your earnings - 2850

But I said bolt app by default deducts 20%

So you have something like this

In app payment - : ₦3,000
Bonus (15%). + ₦. 450
Bolt commision - . ₦ 600

Balance. ₦2850

This does not include the bla Bla bla you received. grin

Hope you catch d drift
OK now I understand cos I dey always see that they still deduct the 20%

Yes they still deduct their 20% but try to calculate the % of the bonus giving to you on each trips after you have been activated for the 5% commission

About getting you car out I honestly don't know anyway, maybe someone here can help out. Goodluck

Angryiboman post should be the wall paper for this thread. Both newbies and oldies can learn a lot from his post.

I really dont see how someone who wants to achieve something in life will say Bolt is better than Uber? In what dimension are you living?

PRO TIP : when I was driving, I only use bolt trips for cash to run uber..cos I love uber card trips. It's the surest way you can see atleast 25k in your account every monday. Try that on bolt.

The kind of people you will meet on Uber you can never meet on Bolt.

My own opinion.

Guy come use your car sow seed for my life na Shuu!!! Abi no b u get d ride b4?

We are not taking this seriously at all. And we do not have the infrastructure if it starts going geometric. How many doctors are there per person. How many hospital beds?

This state in particular is not even set up for social distancing as too many people are gig workers, and Danfo is 5 person per row

I agree with you boss, the truth is mental wise, we r not build for this kind of pandemic situation, but with what I saw today, Lagos start can still manage few cases, anything outside, they will b problem.

On d second tot, we r yet to witness any indigene with positive outcome, all the case we have r suspect, so I see no reason for all these panicking and ban of activities, all we need is take necessary measures

It might be of benefit to all if only you could throw more light on this.

I might be having similar experience right now.

So what happened bro
I wasn't their first victim and I won't be the last.
The very first time I qualified for the 3% commission (because I seldom did online trips), I noticed they were still charging 25% and I mailed them. They replied me telling me they suspected fraudulent activities on my account. I was so mad firstly because I didn't do any fraud and secondly because they said "suspected" which means they could be wrong yet they passed judgement. I challenged them to show me the exact trip(s) that are fraudulent and they couldn't come up with any, they just replied that it was their (flawed) system that flagged my account and there's nothing they could do about it. Since then I abandoned their app and faced bolt and in 100% honesty I do not miss them one bit

I wasn't their first victim and I won't be the last.
The very first time I qualified for the 3% commission (because I seldom did online trips), I noticed they were still charging 25% and I mailed them. They replied me telling me they suspected fraudulent activities on my account. Youre absolutely right because I'm presently having the same experience, we had series of mails and finally they sent me mail in attachment. Mailed them back to know if the 3% incentives has been restored but no reply to that effect. I went online this afternoon, arrived at PUL and rider was misbehaving instructing me to drive into her compound I objected. Waited about 10mins extra she didnt come out I then cancel. Checked my earning, N300.

I just vex off app.
