Pls, I bought maxmech Gen with 3kva output. Barely worked for 3 weeks. It stopped working all of a sudden, I then called the dealer immediately who asked me to bring the generator so that his engr could work on it which I of course did. The engr only changed the plug and put a new one. Then Gen started working immediately. I took it home and powered it, then work for about 2hrs and stopped working again.

Please what could be the problem...

Anythiny less than 140k just be aware u are buying 2.5kva even if the company tag it as 4kva my bro u are buying 2.5kva, so tell me Ur appliances I mean the major ones then I can tell u the kva to power Ur appliances. hello prof enochogaga linclin and others in the house that can help. I just bought a Firman spg 4000E2 generator and fuel consumption is on the high side please which screw will I tighten for better fuel economy.

Good day. Please after tightening and losening the screw as advised, did the fuel consumption reduce? I got same Gen recently and the fuel consumption is very high

I'll not advise you to loosen the screw cos after I did I was getting hard start but it stopped immediately I changed back to default settings.

@prof enochogaga my small tiger gen 950 watt can not power the 450 watt gadgets i use in my shop without power outage or serious overheating, is this normal or is it overloaded or what could be wrong? And if am to get a slightly bigger gen that can effectively power 2.5kva gadgets (considering future), which options do you have for me and how much should be my budget?
Note: fuel efficiency is important. Thank you.

Is it 3kva, 2.7kva or 2.5 kva

tightening doesn't help much I just got used to it 1k fuel will last for about 11 hours on low to medium load.

That gen can't turn 1.5hp surface pump or submarine, go check Ur pump details, if at all it is written 1.5hp on the pump, be aware is 1hp ok,
And the major tec is how many KVA, and with how many hp engine u think is tec major?
Pls recommend what u have a full knowledge of, u might be using Ur 1hp AC on it, but do u know the watt if Ur 1hp AC is with 0.5hp compressor? U might be thinking u are using 1.5hp AC but not knowing it components inside is that of 0.5-1hp. let me stop here, thanks anyway

am using 1.5hp pumping machine. The big one. And am using Tec major on it. The sound is ok. I knw what am talking about.

Good day prof.. I actually try buying gen.. Sumec fireman.. 3000, went to Electronic market in Onitsha,, to my surprise, I couldn't get anyone with copper and long amishore or what... But was ask to get Tigmax6800...,,, how is Tigmax performance..?

Hi guys,prof number is not going but I need advice, my Gen used to carry my Microwave and fridge properly before but now it goes off when I switch on the micro wave and it now sucks engine oil ehn, the fixer said I should change the engine oil rings or buy a new engine oil house or so lols. Please I wanna be sure what to do so I can ask him about it too
