For the past one year, speculations had hovered thickly in the air that the marriage of celebrity presenter of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Frank Edoho, and his broadcaster wife, Catherine, was going through tempestuous times. On several occassions, they vehemently denied the tales which however refused to die down. Those who know insisted it was just a matter of time before their defence would crumble. Now, it has. Early Wednesday morning, Frank sensationally revealed on Twitter that the speculations were indeed true.



“Hey people, just want you to know that I would never do anything to hurt my family. But sadly, I am separated from my wife and it’s irreconcilable. We’ve been separated for over a year now and I want to say Kathy is a great mum and a good person. But it wasn’t working. When I talk about what really went down, jaws will drop and then you will learn that if you want to get hitched, make sure it’s your soul mate please.” He states emphatically that there is no reconciliation for him because “I was trying to give it a last-ditch effort by recapping good times but to no avail….No more ball-and-chain for me. I’ve had it. I’m out.”



Reacting to insinuations that he is a wife beater, he tweets, “Wife-beater story was in 2007 and I see hurtful comments about me now. You’ve watched me for eight years. Do I look like I treat women with no respect?”



Predictably, twit-ville was aglow with comments for and against but the man in the middle of the drama maintains that it is all over for the union consummated about ten years ago and which has produced three kids. Sources say the estranged couple is already seeking a divorce, thus bringing to an unsavoury end the union of one of the most admired couples in Nigerian showbiz.

Oga, stop granting interview everywhere now. Abi is this the first divorce in history? This is your second marriage. If you knew it was that important to you, you will not even be attracted to any outside woman.

Oga leave the woman alone you people have been separated over 2yrs and heading for divorce. Everyone have gone their own way and even you moved on. Why all this? You both have children, leave the woman. Since you are very macho you should be able to find another woman. Hopefully this 3rd time your head go correct. Hard guy no de work for marriage wey you want make e work. You go humble ni and try to do the right thing.

Also make sure no be woman you meet in cheating, it wont work. The way you are crying, its clear your hard guy act js a performance for other men and truly you are not polygamous. A polygamous person will not be weeping like this. You may have escaped with such behavior in the past when media was gossip magazine.

The children of these days you cant lie to them or bamboozole them with one sided story. We have also seen your ex proof. Meet in court and settle privately for your children interest. We do not care about you or your family. You are just giving us entertainment and giving bloggers content.

Oga, always try to read the main gist and not just headlines. This was more than15 years ago and happened with the first wife. It is just coming back again because the trend has repeated itself with the second wife. It is either Frank Edoho is mostly the reason for his predicament either by being the culprit or through his wrong choice in selecting a future partner. Fool me once, shame on you. FOOL ME TWICE, SHAME ON ME !!!!
