bluefilm:Seeing is believing. Here is a link of what is happening in America right now. 22,000 infected now. It is very irresponsible of you to be posing unconfirmed falsehood when some Drs are putting their lives out at risk to saving lives. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNP30CyV7qo |

[s] Angelfrost:[/s] If it is the numbers from China you are counting as recoveries then you're fooling yourself. China which is known for disinformation is what you're believing. Same China that was arresting people that were raising alarm early on about the virus. Why aren't those numbers coming out from Europe? Even US is struggling in futility to cope with the ever increasing numbers everyday and you're here typing rubbish. Just pray our case doesn't get worse than how it is already, because Italy would be a child's play compared to us. |

kponkedenge:Negro please... Back up your panic-ridden rant with facts or at least statistics!!! Over 300,000 currently have the virus, with as many as over 200,000 old cases... If 8900 have died (recently and past), how many have recovered, recovering, or at least hanging in there with reduced viral load??!... This is simple mathematics!!! When we do this, it is not because we are insensitive to those demised or bereaved... It is just to maintain and keep hope alive!!! This virus will eventually thin and fizzle out!!! Why not do all to keep our heads above water while we push to break the infection spread and cycle!!! Why does negativity occupy your minds so rapturously??!... Yous said pray, meaning you are probably religious... Hear me well, do more than pray... Spread survival information and HOPE!!! Don't add High Blood Pressure to what we already have on ground!!! |

Yenefer:Yeah, ours is a crazy and confused world. The 'craze' is the offspring of 'confusion'; a byproduct of ignorance mixed with half intelligence. I don't believe what I can't verify and what I don't believe I do not propagate. Your post has a tone of guidance when doing personal thinking but unhealthy for a community of robotic mobs. Robotic mobs! Isn't that what we've been turned into? Sometimes we think we have access to classified informations while in the actual fact, we are just a glorified victims of brainwashing. I love your post not because it is true, but stuffs like this reminds me never to conclude about anything I can't verify myself. Pandemic or not, natural or not, COVID19 is today a global threat and we have to deal with it. Moreover, If COVID19 of today is a hoax, then, all conspiracy theories woven around it are hoax as well because hoax can only beget hoax. Can we now conclude that LIFE as we know it is another big hoax? How are we sure we've not been riding on lies the moment we started answering our giving names? Let's be an observer, not a follower. May wisdom guide us. |

Yenefer:H1N1 is same as Spanish Flu that killed about 50million people worldwide, but it was in 1918, so there was no way there would be pandemonium as it is now, cause we have social media's and all. So while you recognize that era, remember not much was heard, cause the means wasn't there. |

Angelfrost:Calling a fellow African man like you Negro? SMH. Anyways lemme educate you. Below is the a row-like representation of the various countries hard-hit. Take China away from that list and see the rest of the recovery rates for other countries. On average, South Korea is the best so far because they were able to put in place shelters for drive-by testing while other countries were still downplaying the threat the virus posed. South Korea and US recorded their first cases same day in January, but South Korea took it more seriously than the US. Now compare Italy's infections with their recovery, or Netherlands or Belgium etc. The fact remains that taking early precaution helps in coping the spread and not waiting for it to hit you hard before you start running helter skelter.... Few days before we had these new wave of cases, your FG said they are not stopping flights from high risk countries, it was immediately after it was learnt that some flights from British airlines and KLM have finally brought coronavirus patients they started scampering to start tracking all of them and then eventually suspended flights, is that how a reasonable government should act? Nobody wants any one to die, but any time I think about it, it just doesn't make any sense. The official number stands at 26, who knows what the unofficial number is? In a worst case scenario, how will Nigerians that don't have cars cope if things get worse while using public transport, how about the average business man selling clothes in the market or the average woman running her small shop cope? Few minutes ago I went out to to a local supermarket to stock up some provisions and I met many other people doing the same. Is this what should be happening if our government did the right thing early on? A responsible government seeing what was going on around the world would have swung into action immediately and done the necessary things to protect its citizens.
