ok) i hope so, if i may ask, when did you carry these couple? i really dont understand why they will have common cold flu in our hot weather

medical test at the early stage does not detect covid 19 that is why they want people to self isolate then call for help when they starts showing symptoms, some people can have it without showing symptoms and then spread it to others unknowingly.

Nothing will happen to me my dear, am immune to the Virus. Oluwa is involved. wink smiley

Yeah. In a difficult situation like that, i just have to activate my faith. Social distancing and less driving is what I try to imbibe this coming weeks till the pandemic reduces.

Na, the RHD system won’t be a problem. Na wa ooo, Information that a friend gave me is that I can make 20k daily if i work hard on the job in Lagos. He lives in Benin and drives for Bolt platform. He told me he makes 10k daily

Your friend sold you a lie. You can't make 20k daily in Lagos.

" Make" or "keep" , words that are quite ambiguous for some people.

If you mean after fuel expenses, you will be left wt 20k. NO.

Some days you cud make more while some days you make less,

so we are looking @ averages and not picking the best day ( wat ur friend did)in the month and using that as a yardstick to project for the whole month.

But it will b substantial, but not d way your friend is hyping it.

But be prepared to drive. Sometimes my butt aches ( right side) and my lower right leg with my waist after a lung day. embarassed

At that tym, wen im just thinking of how im damaging my body for this, uche will send msg again saying let's move Lagos. I will b lyk

kiss Lol you funny wella. Mmm or I better put the ride on 25k weekly higher purchase.

I was believing that the high population in Lagos would be a positive, compared to other states.

There’s high population but it takes time to get people to their destinations and unless you want to drive 18 hours straight everyday you can’t make such.
Also driving takes a toll on your body.

I sincerely think drivers should stop working for now. Yes I know things are hard but health is wealth. Any reasonable Partner shouldnt be expecting money for last week. I will advise those on rentals to go and park the cars till this thing blows away.

Drivers are more at risk to this Covid-19. Its already a disaster out here.. the numbers will keep increasing.

Self isolate, stock up your house with food and essentials it's about to get messy.

Winter is here.

Pls y’all in the house; I intend buying a Corolla 2005 or 2008 for Uber and Taxify in Lagos. I intend driving it myself. I want to know if it is feasible to make 15-20k daily after fuel and expenses in Lagos.
OR rather how much is feasible?

2. I am a UK returnee, came back this year. I don’t know my way around Lagos at all; is it possible for me to drive effectively using the map?

3. What are the guidelines and advise so that I don’t fall into the hands of thieves, LASTMA etc.

I want to enter into this venture so as not to deplete my savings as I try to stabilise myself in the country.

Thanks, pls candid advice

Nice plan brov... But personally, I wish you just isolate yourself and not take further risk. To curtain or survive this terrible virus, we have to live as if we have the virus. I stopped working, not only because I may get infected but I may also infect others(especially with the fact that I carried UK returnees last week Monday). Social distancing is all we need now. Please note, I am not trying to create panic, but is real and here big time. THE GOODNEWS IS.... IS NOT A DEATH SENTENCE. Larger percentage of infected people survived it. But trust me, nobody wants to pass through the trauma of being quarantine or placed in an uncompleted building called isolation center in Nigeria. We will surely survive it. 1luv guys!

And I'll advise you to do so too (if you can) if you watch aljazeera and see what's happening in Italy, I dont think youll have the nerve to step out. NB, uber/bolt drivers are highly exposed as some healthy ppl you hail today might be carrier as symptoms hide till after 14days.

Drivers on Rental kindly go back and explain things to your partner or better still just return the cars for now....
Goin of leave till further notice. May God provide for us in these Times. Amen...

grin grin grin this man sha, always straight to the point no sugar, no spice and no ice. But i wan ask you something where you this angry before or after venturing into the e- hailing business or na so your matter just be?
AngryIgboMan:
One thing I have come to notice is that most of you drivers don't understand what is happening yet. They are shutting down businesses and schools and some of you are complaining.

Funny enough, drivers are meant to be the first set of people that should have shut down business especially Uber and Bolt drivers. Ehailing drivers are more exposed to this virus.

This is so because this Virus has proven to be Airborne and has also proven to survive more in cold conditions too. Your AC is ON 24/7. What do you think?

The implication is that if you should carry a rider that has "Coro Nwa" and the person coughs, the pathogen may remain airborne in your car. You will breathe it in and your next rider will breathe it in too. The virus will keep on spreading.

Honestly una get mind. It seems some of you have not suffered Ukwara Tuko Tuko (Dry Cough)? Blood will be coming out of your mouth and no saliva? You have not seen Italian army moving corpses in there thousands? These are people that have world class medical facilities oo and have sensible leaders. Over here, you guys have dog pens as hospitals and iddiots as leaders oo.

I pity some of you honestly. If am being too honest, this Corona abi Corolla virus is among the reasons I ran away from Lagos. Personally, I am very allergic to dirtiness, disease, bacteria, pathogen, virus and bad odours.

I remember one time I was driving a very dirty girl from Lekki to Ikeja to go and meet one Alhaji in a hotel. Even right in my car, this shallow minded girl was negotiating with Alhaji on price. Skin to Skin 40k while Condom is 20k. Can you imagine? Somebody's future wife oo. All these dirty uncircumcised Northerners that there pennis used to be long like Nepa pole while some their pennis is curved like isosceles triangle.

The annoying part was that this girl was a smellos too. This girl was smelling burnt crayfish mixed with decayed dead rat and spoilt egusi soup. I looked at her straight in the eye and told her we have to drive into a mini mart for her to get a perfume or roll on. The girl of course started shouting. I ignored her.

At a filling station, I told her to come down that I want to buy food. Immediately she came down, I engaged my gear and ran away. I parked somewhere and opened my 4 doors, bonnet and my boot too so that fresh air will enter all corners of the car! Yes. I AM THAT ALLERGIC TO BAD SMELL AND NASTY ODOUR. I TAKE CLEANLINESS VERY SERIOUS.

Atimes when I hear that Nigerian guys go down on Nigerian girls to eat their this thing, I use to ask myself what these guys are going down to even eat. I remember one Yoruba girl I dated when I came to Lagos newly. The type of forest I saw when this girl removed her pants eh... I am certain all types of wild animals and diseases reside there. My this thing fell down immediately and I had to chase her out of my apartment. I swore never to date any Lagosian ever again.

Why all these stories?

You need to be careful of your lifestyle especially this Corona period. Dont use because of 700 and catch disease 1 million may not cure. Even the Mumu Uche has closed shop and is now working from the comfort of his parlour in Ikoyi.

While you are busy moving Lagos and catching Corona Virus up and down, Uche in the comfort of his Ikoyi apartment is busy moving champagne from his cabinet to his stomach. Wise up. Run Away from Lagos if you can. That city is too congested and hot! If the epidemic begins.... Hmmmm... Chineke! Many will go. God forbid sha.

Come to think of it. You dont even have International Passport and you want to come and carry abroad disease? Naso your village people strong reach?

Bruv,do you really think the hysteria over this virus is necessary. Do u really think Nigerians can sit at home for 2 weeks straight.do u really think naija economy can stand a total shutdown for just one week?

What we need is massive efficient sensitisation on safety and hygiene. All this panic will cause a bigger crisis than covid19 can ever cause.

Law and order totally breaks down when there is massive hysteria. That really is my own fear

Italy has proven that its health care system is not standard.

I have also noticed that countries with high rate of death due to the virus have a bad health system.

As for the global economy, the damage have been done, lot of changes will happen after the virus is fought.

Open borders ideas will be thrown into the waste bins.

Expect more tighter border controls.

Extreme right wing politics will win

Anti foreigner sentiments in European countries will be high.

Businesses will find ways to implement work from home policies

Online education will be the new thing.

Presently different governments are bringing in different stimulus package to support businesses and their cities.

If you live in america and Germany, easy access to get cheap credit, in Germany for instance, govt is going to write off loans of businesses and people.

I came to understand that my Nigeria is a poor country, where other countries are talking about 100 billion to 500 billion USD as stimulus packages, ours is just 2.6 billions USD.

My opinion is panic and hysteria is needed now, at least it will make people listen.

Massive sensitization is needed now especially about social distancing, the more social distancing, the less the virus spread.

but i wonder how people living 5 in a room or in face me i face you do social distancing
