The "we shouldn't have featured Afrikaans because it's a joke" part though, I find a little disrespectful & condescending to us as a people. South African people speak Afrikaans words even before learning other languages, such as English. Many 1st realize this when they start school, that some of the words they've used their whole lives were actually loan words from Afrikaans eg. Ibhekile from beker etc.
