Why did you go for the test, are you coming from any of the high risk country or you had contact with any of the infected patients?
Covid 19 is not malaria that you will walk in into any hospital to perform a test
Reading/Comprehension, which of these is your challenge?

If you're not prepared by now you must be a fool. See this people don't care about us, look at how long it took them to shut the borders! Nigeria can't contain this virus oh, USA! Canada! Germany! People are dying in thousands. Na for hear them wan treat us? They will just lockdown the country so if you catch the virus you will die in your house.

In going around the hospital, u may even land yourself in d trouble of the virus. Hospital is a very dangerous place to go nw. Pls go home and wait till after the pandemic _ that's if u ar lucky enough to survive it_ not wishing you bad though

Why not? As a matter of fact people need to get tested because they may have the virus and not show any symptom.
Before they go about infecting others.
I understand, but think about it if everyone starts going to the hospital for the test our health system will collapse as well as spreading the disease

I don't understand. Must you come from those countries before you request to be tested? Coronavirus no dey show for face. The earlier you get tested to know your status (because you don't know whom you've had contact with), the better for you

I've been sitting here with one guy since 1hr plus now and there is no one that has attended to us and all the nurses were just going up and down.
What made me to sit this long was because of this ENT issue at LUTH if not for that, i wouldnt have waited this long just to get tested.
-i noticed that the staffs were being reluctant to carryout the test or maybe they dont have the test kit, and if the later is the issue then its a A BIG SHAME.

I cant wait any longer, i'll have to go and wait until (if) the pandemic is over.
My FELLOW NIGERIANS, MAY GOD HELP US IN THIS COVID-19 ISSUE.

Pls go and corroborate my story and if anyone have any idea on how to get tested and the procedures involved, let the person share with us.

You are a selfish individual. So you want to waste the few available test kits because of a ENT appointment that can wait till after the pandemic. #covidiot

I hope violence doesn't erupt soon o, because the way we are unable to handle this thing spells a breakdown of civil order and ultimately doom.

We should all leave the city and go back to our village where we are all assured of safety and calmness.
The city is already infected with the Virus

The test kit is extremely limited. It's not cheap over the counter test kit now. Even if one is having the virus, as long as such person is not showing visible symptoms, all what the doctor need is to take simple precautions like face masks and hand gloves plus washing of hands. Non symptomatic patients are not that infectious. And yeah, I read that from WHO updates

This virus really exposed our government inability to look into our collective health issues. What a shame.
