If this mediocre and incompetent wike is Mr Project, then Ganduje in Kano must be Emperor, Field Mashall Project.

If you haven't been known for your daftness you would have realized that the picture showing the kano state project is a mere underpass with very minimal structural members not Spanning upto 20 metres with earth works on the other sections of the road as against serious structural work on the Rivers state design spanning over 80 metres with adjoining roads on both sides of the flyover.

Rivers state governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike Says he is impressed by the pace of work at the Rebisi flyover bridge in Port Harcourt.

It would be recalled the governor initiated and awarded 3 flyover bridges in Port Harcourt all to be executed simultaneously within 18 months window.

Flyovers. That's the only thing Nigerian governors can think about in this artificial intelligence age. And once they succeed in building one, you see them frothing in the mouth gallivanting up and down and making a big, biig, biiiiiiiiig deal of it.

lol... what is the root cause of your assumptions? what's the urban plan for port harcourt?... where is the traffic engineering design of port harcourt? are this urban plan or traffic design being adhered to if they exist?

again look for root cause AND NOT THE make over cause before you start to fix problem... this is a lesson they teach children in china as soon as they are born.

Weldone for talking absolute rubbish. 1st and foremost it takes minimum of 1 hour just to go fru this I intersection cos of the cross roads the only solution to this is a flyover and it is constructed by JB 3 at once.. look at lagos imagine taking off flyovers in Lagos.so to me this is a direct solution to a massive problem.mo ey well spent if U ask me.

They steal the majority and dash the poor people a few projects.

I wonder how much this bridge cost?

Is it public knowledge the tender and award of this bridge contract ?

PDP supporters are the most foolish soul on planet earth. This is Wike one n only bridge in 5 years see hyping. Amosun built over 10 bridges, completed 8 yet this same foolish people won't stop insulting him though Wike earned triple what Amosun earned.

Do you have brain at all? When you see good things commend it , it doesn't take anything from you. The roads that Wike is scrapping off to build new ones are far better of than most roads in Nigeria. In his 1st 4 years , he constructed a lot of roads and right now, 3 bridges are being constructed at the same time , with other roads . All the governors that have ruled Rivers state did good job. New governors always want to outdo their predecessors. That brings a lot of development to Rivers state continually compare to other states. If you cannot commend good works when you see it, just keep quiet.

Lol... just looking at the pic of this bridge it's a disaster.... give you a few I see... (a) no lights (b) no lane demarcation (c) i dont see drainage (d) if there is an emergency on bridge (i.e.) faulty cars, accidents etc how would users fair as I dont see any walk space for users (e) I only see 2 exit and 2 entry to bridge... and looking at the cross road in pic there is only one exit but no entry at this cross road.

By the way i'm just an olodo and not an traffic engineer but i see all this mistakes.

You did not answer his question.

One hour to go through where? The intersection that doesn't exist?

What are the name of the intersections you are talking about?

This flyover is less than 300 meters from another rail flyover and about 500 meters shy of another flyover at CFC which is also about 500 meters away from Mile one flyover. I see this more as status symbol than necessity. It is only in Port-Harcourt that you have 4 flyovers in less than 2km stretch. This flyover should have been at Tank/Rumuokwurusi, Wimpey/Iwofe/Ada George or Location NTA/Ada George.

Well it's better to build some and chop some than to chop everything without building anything.

Even Odili is more innovative than Wike but in truth Wike has done a lot compared with Odili and could equal or surpass Amaechi in only road construction. Amaechi was a visionary leader just like Odili but the difference is that Amaechi did more solid jobs. Wike on the other hand is building for self praise without vision. He is presently rebuilding basically all roads in New GRA with many being dualized in an area with radius of 6 square kilometer with good roads whereas a vast area of Rivers State from Etche, Omuma, Emohua, Abua/Odual, Ogonis, Kalabaris etc. are lacking much in basic infrastructural facilities. Amaechi in his time created ways to extend development beyond Portharcourt to other parts of Rivers State including the Transkalabari highway, building of standard rural schools in hundreds, standard health centers across communities, completion of power plant started by Odili, building of monorail to decongest road traffic and creation of a well planned large expanse area for a Greater Portharcourt city.

The first set of pictures I posted showed the same bridge under construction and when you exposed your ignorance about lights and street markings, I showed you the completed project with lights and street markings, now you ignorantly posted the same sets of pictures of the uncompleted bridge to prove another ignorant point.

And since you know so much about continuity in Kano, what about continuity in Rivers? It doesn't exist, the useless and incompetent wike abandonedAmaechi's project.

This is the reason why Kano has so much quality and comprehensive projects to show and while Rivers as the second richest state in Nigeria can not show anything beyond the kind of mediocrity in this thread.
