Oh really? I didn't even know that. Well I guess I'll start marking the date now. Well in belated celebration I will get myself a bottle of Star Radler and toast to freedom from religious garbage.

I don't have much to celebrate. Than to just be thankful that I was able to rise above all the indoctrination and brainwashing and to come to the valid conclusion, that religion is a lie after 20 solid years.


I want to specially celebrate the people who have fought for the freedom of people like me. Because a few years ago, when world politics was massively controlled by religion and theologians, I would have been dead/burnt at stake or at the very least, rejected from society simply for having this sort of skeptic mindset.

I own my freedom of speech to those great people who fought for the normalisation of secularism. I very much understand that there a lot of religious people who would want us to return back to the age where doubt is criminalized.

And I have made it my point of duty to fight for the rights of fellow atheists, both now and in the future, for their right to freedom of speech and to go about their normal lives regardless of their belief or lack of it.


To the commiseration of atheists who have lost their lives, in the hands of religious people, both completely and partially, I personally dedicate this day.

Once one's religion is involved, anything done within is okay. Even David their hero cut 200 pricks of enemies, but since he's a man after their god's heart, it's ok.

I have never claimed to be an atheist and i don't worship Atum either. Atum does not like worship and this New Age era is not a time where humans should be worshipping people up and down. It is for scientific purposes either. Just that it was Atum who began the revelation of truth to me, that's all.

The three golden rules are:

1. Use your brain
2. Worship no god/God
3. Do good to humanity

I only take instructions on principles and spend my time helping others to gain the knowledge as well.
Is that not what you've been trying to do all these while on Nairaland?

As long as you think of principles (rules) and how to pass it onto your neighbours, you're serving the purpose of someone take it or leave it.

Think of how much data you've spent on Nairaland, time and effort in typing all just to inform others!
