Just imagine our country.

When health workers complain most of us here will bash them and when they go on strike they are heartless.

How do you expect any health worker to dive in without a surgical gloves, mask.

If the government was a reasonable one, they would have started importation of these materials from onset or even encourage local manufacturers. Only fourty something and we are crying what will happen if we get to the stage of Italy.

Please everyone should just protect his or herself.
Our government is still playing politics with this virus.

I don't trust those workers. This is an avenue for them to begin to steal and horde these materials and equipment to themselves so much so that when you go to their house, you'll see their family members having 3 pieces each. Some will even begin a side hustle with it by selling in their neighborhood.
No be government workers again? Shior!

Health workers who are our first line of defence against this virus don't have tools and because of the generational poverty worrying you, you think they want to use it to eat. If it's enough, would they be selling it?

You're a very ugly thing. As if that is not enough, you are posting rubbish. Ugly girls usually have sense, I don't know why you're exceptionally stupid.

I read on one thread on how a nurse advised her fellow nurses not to work if there are no protective kits.

See people that said they are ready to fight the virus ooo.

Should they fight without protective kits and forfeit their own lives?

How are they supposed to work, if they all get exposed and die, who would do the work? Engineers? Or bankers? Blame the govt for not providing protective gears we are not even saying ventilators, it's all these nylon and handgloves and mask they are asking of oh.

Ogun kill you there, the nurses and doctors exposed to the virus aren't they vulnerable humans with loved one and families, both my parents are medical personnel and I would never want them risking their lives to save anyone.

I am receiving reports from some Federal Hospitals that doctors are being asked to buy their own PPE for their work....

....and that April salaries are not guaranteed due to the revenue profille of goverment.

No comment for now. Nigeria is in serious jeopardy.

How can they be lacking PPE for just 46 patients? What if there are 1000 cases?

Let's hope spread of the virus is contained.
