Mr. Gimba Kakanda, a Popular writer and Political analyst has declared that Nigeria can not afford a repeat of Late President Umaru Yar’adua and Goodluck Jonathan situation in 2010.

Late Yar’adua died on the 5th of May 2010 after a prolonged ailment and was buried the next day. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who was his Vice constitutionally assumed the position of the President.

For some reasons best known to him, Gimba Kakanda few hours ago on his Twitter page attacked the Vice President and called on everyone to protect President Buhari.

Gimba said: “Protect the President by all means. We can’t afford a repeat of the Yar’adua era in this critical time.

The potential replacements are a breed of vultures I wouldn’t want to see in charge of Nigeria. And now isn’t the time to flee the country.”

This definitely did not go down well with many Nigerians, as they felt Gimba Kakanda spewed that out of his hatred for southerners because he is well known for always criticizing President Buhari.

See his usual Muslim hating on Trump tweet as if the so called "Stupid" is not a zillion times better than his sick president.

I don't subscribe to insulting President Buhari but seriously these Muslims need to fall back with their unnecessary hate for Trump.

The man is putting back billions of dollars to the American people and economy during this Chinese virus crisis period in America.

What has our own Government done to take care of this Coronavirus issue that was brought in by the Elites of this country like Abba kyari who travelled to Germany to bring it back here, or the Italian consultant who benefits them as they are the ones who own the most equity in that Cement Company, etcetera. Not the common man on the street.

The Poor Nigerians have to pay for this virus brought into the country by the Elites with an order to shut down the economy knowing fully well that 80% of our economy is informal. Now, I don't have a problem with shutting down to curtail the spread of the virus that these elites brought into the country but the problem is where are the test centers in every Local Governing Areas for those Nigerians who are not internet savvy/knowledgeable to go there and get tested?

Before the elections. They distributed bags of Rice with their faces printed on them. Where are the test kits, face masks, hand Sanitizers and money stimulus distributed to the common man to subsidize things as these hand Sanitizers are now way out of the reach of the common man on the street.

Indeed. No two ways about it. In fact the only option open to Nigeria, to be accepted by Nigerians and the world at large, is strict adherence to the constitution of our nation.

If the Corona Virus has done anything it is to reiterate the essence of the saying " evil thrive when good men to nothing" to the entire world.

I am sure things will be different now as wise men begin to understand that what affect others can snowball to affect us too. The injustice we turn a blind eye to today could be at our door tomorrow.

Igbos can be really pedestrian and highly disappointing sometimes. Even in a matter of national importance, where there is only one option for every sensible Nigerian to follow, Igbos must continue to obsess about a Yoruba angle.

What is difficult to understand over the provisions of our constitution that the VP takes over if the President is incapacitated? Why are Igbos trying to be mischievous with the situation to even be saying Yorubas are wishing Buhari death yet they have no criticism of a Northerner openly insinuating the North should not do the right thing by the Nigerian constitution?

This is how Igbos always let themselves down. When we then get past this period the anti-Nigerian and tribalistic posturing is all that will be remembered as the Igbos input in this serious Nigerian issue. Igbos would have then set themselves back another 20 years. Incredible people sha.
