Good day. I am a student and also a content writer. During the holidays, I utilized my time well for working for clients and I was doing well. But as school resumed, I couldn’t cope with heavy work load and I had to drop thrown the work to others.
Samuel showed interest to work for me. And one project with me was successful. He wrote an article and got paid as due in due time.
Another project came in and it was three articles to be written. So I gave it to him. Remember I source jobs from clients and I am not a self sustained person poking for articles.
So Aftr giving him the job, Samuel dropped the articles. Some were okay and some were not good. I took time and was nonchalant about everything because I didn’t have time in school. Activities were too much and I still had to read. That’s not an excuse, I know I didn’t do well but it just happened that I didn’t take the issue much serious.
Time went on and I hadn’t edite the articles myself before submitting to my client who pays me. So, not too long, I submitted two articles and I had been pleading for him to pay me since Samuel here doesn’t want to understand that I’ve not yet been paid.
Samuel kept on disturbing me and asking for his money. I explained all to him and also pleaded indicating it’s my nonchalance that’s caused everything. But it seems it fell to deaf hears. I paid him 5k out of my personal money without even collecting the money from my boss.
Currently, my client says he will pay 4th April but Samuel says he wants his money and terms me a scammer. I have explained my part and it’s left for anyone to understand it how he wishes

Imagine hiring a person to write after you get articles and weeks of no paying you refuse responding completely or talking at all. No chats nor response for up to 5 days. First it was two weeks straight. Only to come up four weeks later telling lies. These are projects that by conversion rates clients would pay as much as 3 to 5 Maura per word but not to be considered lazy we chose to work on them a makes per word yet one thinks he can use people and do with them as he pleases.

Would he replace writers I had mentored and have refused working with me if at all he surprisingly pays tomorrow?

If you will bring up a case, you should as well be honest and stop with lies.
You say I didn’t respond for two weeks straight? Wow. Please send screenshot of the whole chat from the beginning of our encounter . Thanks

He lies. Each new week he gives a new date. Last two weeks he said last week, last week he said this Monday, this Monday he said this Friday, I asked him today, he postponed to he doesn't even now of hell pay for services rendered despite all efforts to get him to. Communicate. Screenshots to back my claim will follow this message. I asked him to talk this morning, as usual he begin to dillaydally not saying anything of importance. I'll share screenshots

Ask him to forward screenshot mentioning if he'll make payment April 4. Also ask him if I consented to writing articles for him only to be paid 6 weeks later.

Hearing from both sides, please who's playing coy and cheating here?

I sent you this screenshot of my chat with the person expected to pay me but it seemed It fell to deaf hears

You say each new week I give a new date but earlier you said I hadn’t replied you for 4 weeks.
Whos the lie coming back to?

Shall I post screenshots where you said payment would be this Friday unfailingly? Shall I post screenshot where you said payment would be this week's Monday? Shall I post screenshots where you said payment would be last week?
All those doesn’t necessarily mean you should lie that I didn’t respond for four weeks

I'm sure you think playing cod is acceptable by just about everyone. Today it's next week, next week it's the upper. You claimed above that you said April 4th and I didn't agree. Now I'm asking for the screenshot on that issue. Post it to debunk my assertions
I had been assuring you of payment because I expected my client to pay me earlier

Playing victim again. I'm sure you know I didn't say you didn't respond for four weeks. I'm sure if you like don't pay. I've already taken the first action so when my writers report me they can see who caused it. If you like don't pay, I'll raise the funds somehow to have my team paid.

You are now backing it that you didn’t lie . Here’s what you said earlier .

Let’s all take this case as it as and stop trying to spoil another because of selfish reasons

Re: Scam Alert : Issue With A Scam Employer On Nairaland by Divepen1(m): 2:14pm On Mar 26, 2020
From what I have seen so far, the fault lies your client, Emmaxy9
You also share a part of the blame. Approach this client as if you wrote the work and not because someone is bugging you about payment. How do I know you can do this?
I wrote a novella for an outsourcer lastweek, and the client came back to say there were errors and he wanted us to write in a method that wasn't what he wrote in his outline. The outsourcer vehemently objected and told him to be specific. He gave us an outline and we followed it to the letter, even editing with Grammarly premium. The client was simply insatiable but we got our money.

You have to go all out on him. This is becoming unbecoming. You are making Everythindeals lose face in front of his team. I will suggest that you keep reminding your client that you also have a life to live. I have gone out strong on my clients on Fiverr and also outsourcers. We still work together till date. Not meeting deadline shouldn't be a reason to be dropped down the list. What list is that? That he wants to play with your money and reputation.

I'm not saying you should be rude but you must be firm and bold in handling this issue because if I don't hide this topic or Everythindeal doesn't modify, Google has indexed this page and when your info is searched, it will show Scam Alert.
You might not consider it now but all these things have their ways of crawling back to us.
And please correspond with him. People are ready to work on their books this period. So, jobs are flying everywhere. With his writers, he will get more offers and income.

And Everythindeals, please bear with him. The chat up there is glaring. He might have tried to persuade you by hoping the client will reconsider his plan, but you should understand he is human.
You might have to consider that the client promising that day does not mean Emmaxy9 will get the money in the morning. It might be in the night. And some can even wait till the next day.

Let's go on and make the world a better place.

God bless you. You also resolved a dispute I had with someone here with utmost maturity. Your maturity has pacified me much more than money would. I'll settle with my team. I was just pissed with the way someone was relegating third party issues to me like I'm a stakeholder in his enterprise, building his own business while destroying mine. I've had clients owe me for three months I didn't create thread, a dude on the forum duped me of 500k, I didn't create thread. But you really should see the way themes guy here communicates in condescending manner despite obvious violation of agreement. It's okay. I have to listen to the elders. I'm taking it easy cause of you. Thanks for your constant wise and honest input in conflict resolution. Trust me the mods in other sections need to take lessons from you. More Grace, More wisdom

You have pacified me. Please delete the thread. Thanks
