Are you also saying banks should loan monies to people cos of the shutdown ?
no. New transactions should be subject to the same scrutiny as they always are. Existing ones should have payments suspended or pardoned for now and no interest for this period. That's what is being done elsewhere. In fact most bills are suspended elsewhere but that's not really feasible in Nigeria

Here is something productive to do now there's time to do it.

Hi. In case you have time for online learning or are simply interested or curious about AI, blockchain, cybersecurity (and other STEM topics) or want to brush up on your essential professional skills, IBM has FREE online resources for you.

Pls share it with your kids, your kids’ teachers, your teacher friends, or friends who have schools, parents etc. Share this as widely as possible. At the end of the day everyone benefits when there’s an additional skilled person on these topics to best prepare them for the future challenges and opportunities.

Unbalanced reporting.

How long did he work for you
How much did he remit?
How many accidents did he have?
Was the vehicle road worthy or was he waiting for used parts to be shipped by you from USA?
We need to hear from the driver too.

Accident could have been cause by brake failure.

You are lucky it's not my face up there, I would sue you for every Honda/Hyundai you own.

Sir it seems you work with a reliable insurance company that's even if there's any.
Let's assume you have, please tell us your experience with having a minor issue like this one Dru23 presently have or an accident leaving one of your headlamps bad plus damage on a 3rd party, how did your insurance company resolve the issue with you or for you?

Insurrance companies in Nigeria that looks for ways to deny customers when problem arises na him you won use compare insurrance abroad?

What can 5/10% of a property do to replace a car of 2/30m within the first 6months of insuring such property in case anything happens to it? Most if not all insurance companies in Nigeria are not reliable.

Lol, the work is dull this period, spending longer hours out trying to break even. It just time it will pass.

Been home for 2days now. And truely work stress was telling on me. Its miraculous how rest can transform someone's looks. We are striving to get to when we chill more at home. We'll all get there before the hardwork breaks us down.

I still prefer to roll up my sleeves than do abracadabra to make money

My brother insurance companies in Nigeria is shitty, this is coming from a guy that leaves abroad.. The process it takes for them to answer your claim , you just give up ,and meanwhile you have to use your own money to sort it out till you get paid....

Bottom line... insurance company in Nigeria is a scam on its own. I dont depend on it . The process is so time consuming that you will be forced to give up ...

This depends on your insurance company sir. Which ones have you been dealing with? I've seen insurance company pay out claims within a week of getting in touch with them. And yes, they pay for the insured and the third party damages.

From past experience, I just dont deal with them any of them from the so called good ones to the bad ones..

And the point here is , just because you have insurance does not give the driver to be reckless with the car. It does not give you that authority to misbehave..

My cars in the USA are insured, but does that mean I can drive up and down like a crazy person.. Bottom line insurance company in Nigeria is a scam.. We can agree to disagree

I believe you have been on this thread for so long that you ought to know when AXA mansard was really advertised here. Negative ratings would have filled the forum if they were not paying claims.

Then why do u have to brand them scam since you have not even dealt with one?
Have never had any kind of delay in claiming my policy.
What u are advised to do is to simply get ur car insured comprehensively with the right insurance company. Then, u are fine.
Besides, living abroad does not make one have knowledge about all things.

You are greedy. How can you expect someone to continue work this period. The peanut they try to make will be useless if they contact the virus.

I know your drivers will still be working this period and you don't care about their health as long as they pay you, then switch to another driver if anything happens to any driver.

Your cars in the US are insured because it is crime not to have insurance.

Insurance companies in the US also do not pay for every claim a client make or they will go bankrupt.

AXA Mansard, there is another insurance company( allianz). Allianz is a multi-national company. They have branches in some countries in europe, the way they operates never changed.
I have policies with leadway assurance. And i have never had any kind of delay in the claims when it matured to cash out.
You just have to deal with the right company.
This matter is not about living abroad before he can be educated about how insurance works.

We are only talking about insurance policy.
The reckless drivers will surely meet their own warrant in future. What goes around, comes around. Law of karma will surely deal with dem.
How many destructive drivers or people have u met or seen successful in their own business? That is if they managed to own one.

From the bolded, I don't think you've used any insurance company here. Maybe you listen to all the bad reviews people dish out , to form your opinion

Insurance companies in Nigeria have improved. AXA Mansard, Allianz, Leadway, Wapic are all good. We have seen people like slam.stan.lee change his side mirrors courtesy of his insurance. Even Gazzzz, on one of his rebuilding threads, had his insurance pay for the respraying of his car(Honda Accord)

Please don't listen to roadside gossips. You own a car of 1.5 million. It's wiser to use a 100k max or lesser to insure it incase of any damage, as little as a broken side mirror.

If you had insured that Elantra, the windshield and bonnets will be changed by the insurance. No arguements. Or if your driver was enlightened, he would have demanded for the third party cover of the person that caused the accident (that's if he wasn't at fault)

Insurance is very vital in this business. Sometimes, it may not be a driver's fault, but other road users. I saw an accident where a truck cleared almost five vehicles and damaged them all. Anybody with comprehensive insurance will just go and sleep.

Insure your cars sir. It's the wisest thing to do
