Give your phone some days to adjust it will stop. Force Restart your phone randomly severally. And during this first day reduce how frequently you charge your device. All will be fine.

Good day guys. Please how do I use double tap to sleep on redmi 8a?
It only works when I'm on the LOCKSCREEN. I want to use it when I'm on the HOME SCREEN. I hope you understand this my question.
you will have to install Poco launcher for that... or you can add a lock widget on your home screen.

All right, bro. It's the 3rd day now. The Android system cpu usage is very high. It takes about 30% juice. On the previous version it was just about 4-5%. I've even had to format multiple times. I'm even thinking of reverting entirely to miui 10 with fastboot rom. grin

The way forward is going backwards to the previous stable version and not updating until it is confirmed safe.

Once you connect ur phone to ur system, press ur volume button (it's either d up-volume OR d down-volume button that worked for me years ago).
Can't remember which one, but press d volume buttons all d same shaaaa.

You be newbie for this issue that's why, I have experienced it severally and it goes back to normal after a few days no need to format just observe certain rituals when you update your firmware and you will be fine.

Don't give people advice that will come back to hunt you when people see phone has been destroyed while attempting this. Except if you get about $50 to sort for authorised MIUI account per victim
