That's the problem, lots of people already have this virus but are asymptomatic. We only hear of the elites getting positive because they are the only ones having access to testing.

I know of at least - 10 people who recently returned from the UK that have been tested and they are just average Nigerians who called NCDC and they responded. There is even a story of Nairaland about it.

It’s the same as saying only elites are getting tested in the UK because the names we see online are that of celebrities and public figures.

You have said it all. Virtually everyone in Nigeria has the virus. Just that most of us Dont have that opportunity to get tested like those pple in higher offices as we all appear to be asymptomatic. With the records so far... We always hear of cases from travellers and those in higher offices. Abegi... Virtually everyone has the virus as we appear not to show signs. However, contracting the virus isn't a death sentence. We all need to build up our immune system.
