GamalNasser:
Lagos was already in lockdown for the past 6days and we were doing great so why did he have to announce the same level of lock down and trigger another round of inflation , panic buying and uncertainty ? Why ? Didn't he know Lagos was already in lock down? And besides he doesn't even have the power to do this without consulting the Governor and state assembly
Pls read his speech very well. They have been duely informed and infact supported it. Ogbeni, you better be guided because if it get to the level of Spain and Italy now, you will still blame him onwhy he didn't close down the state.

This is the matter of national interest and the safety of the Nigerian citizens. The declaration by the president that FCT, Lagos and Ogun State residents should remain indoor is expected before now. Therefore, we need to support this move with our compliance and remind the federal government on the measures to ensure poor Nigerians are given some allowances.

Oga why are you misleading people? Which Lagos was locked down? Was people's movement in and out of Lagos restricted? Even up till now one can freely move within and out of Lagos until 11pm. Before you talk another lie, know that I am living in Lagos presently
Have most businesses in Lagos not been shut?

Have bus parks not been closed ?

Have most domestic airlines not already shut done since Friday ?

Buhari said supermarkets , petrols station , hospitals and pharmacies remain open , is that not what has been in place since?

Get your fact right.. Lagos was on partial lockdown which allowed movement of public transport and food sellers and household sellers to open shop. With president directives none of this will never come to play. Total lockdown except for some exceptional activities
Food essentials , retail ( supermarkets) , petrol station , pharmacies and hospital are still open in Buharis version so you get your facts right

Look at how stupid you sound. Lagos was already on lock down, why did he order the same level of lock down. Why didn't he know that Lagos was already on lock down, and besides, he doesn't even have the power to do so. All from one mouth. I ask, if Lagos was already on the same level of lock down, why are then complaining?
Because he has triggered another round of panic buying and inflation again ..

Partial lockdown.

Was out last week Friday and the way I saw people moving about nobody was practicing social distancing, people still spreading fake news that there is no virus, saying even if e Dey we go use ogogoro and igbo kill am, no protection food sellers exposing themselves and the food they sell. From the look of things then we would have an exponential growth if nothing was done to implement this totally lockdown
But in this one supermarkets, petrol stations and hospitals/ pharmacies and other essential services are still open which means it's not a full lockdown
Re: COVID-19: Dino Melaye Says Buhari's Movement Ban Is Undemocratic by Gazzy88(m): 8:19am On Mar 30, 2020
We have many unfortunate people in this country that never see anything good in Buhari regardless of what he does especially folks across the River Niger. So looting your constituency allowances to buy exotic cars is democratic àbi? Thunder fire you there ,Dino.

I want to believe that you are just catching fun by pretending to be incorrigible.....Lagos was not on lock down as lots of street markets are still open, likewise Inter and intra movement buses and vehicles are not restricted, neither is human movement restricted...private offices and businesses who wishes are still open....but Buhari just announced a total lock down from tonight, hence even essential services will only open with approval and strict guide....

As of yesterday, parks were still fully operational. There was free movement into and out of Lagos. Lagos was not on a lockdown please. We were only trying to minimize social activities. What the president said about Abuja and Lagos, and was was already on ground are two different things. By implication, you cannot leave or come into Lagos starting today by 11pm, all offices will be closed apart from the exempted ones. Sanwo-olu only left it at the discretion of offices in the private sector, but the president gave an order. Let us not argue over this. Lagos up till now is not closed. You can go to Ogun, and anywhere until 11pm.
