Where's Gov Udom Gabriel Emmanuel? He should come and see what his counterpart in Lagos is doing!

His "counterpart in Lagos" is not sharing any food. It's all media propaganda.

It's all propaganda by the APC. Lagos residents did not get any food.

It's not propaganda, it's real. But the problem is that the state had only those above the 60 years markn in their focus; and well, that's not all, these people must also have registered with LASSRA as a resident.

So my dear, don't hope to get anything if you're younger and have not registered. That's everything I know about the process.

Exactly what they did in my area today. APC giving only to their members. So I heard though. I also saw it too.
You would probably hear that 100 billion was used for it.

That's what they want to make you believe but there's more to it. I know someone personally who's legally resident in Lagos, built a house there for over 30 years, he's well over 60, pays all taxes and land use charge etc, and registered with LASRAA, has the card and all but when time for this came, he was excluded. No SMS sent, nothing.

Canada that is sharing money isn't making a show of it. You're sharing 3bag sack of rice to each CDA you're calling Paso and Obesere. Mtchew

Perhaps the person in question had gotten a change of phoneline and/or had filed in a date that doesn't correllate with his/her age in his/her LASSRA form. Yes, I heard of a couple of people who had difficulty replying the received message successfully which will allow them the opportunity to recieve the largesse at their resident but all eligible persons above sixty are considered; you can take that to the bank. I'm saying this because I know someone in the KNOW and had heard of this even before it came to the media.

Mind you, this has not circulated around yet. They are still covering the Island with the Mainland coming in few days.

Looting of Covid funds has begun. Some naive people will praise the move, but critical thinkers like me can't be fooled by all this circus show for the camera. At the end of the exercise, that's when you will hear that 60 billion was spent to buy 200 bags of rice and 80 bags of garri grin Dem go hammer no be small

And we need to fight it. Please note it is not for everyone. Let us not reduce d ration for the people that need it. Let us have a positive mindset. Change begins with you and me

Here in Port Harcourt, it's like a war zone. Earlier this morning, my wife who was in labour was sent back home on her way to the hospital! She was told to go and give birth at home by a female police officer around UST junction!!! They were just abusing people's right to life and throwing teargas up and down without resistance from the people!!!
I saw firsthand a man who was going to buy food for his child but could not see a single shop to buy from maltreated around that UST or RSU junction close to mile three!!! It was hell! There was no palliative whatsoever!!! Thank God my wife was able to find her way to the hospital and was delivered safely. Only that she, my mum and her mum had to trek back home from Education to Ikwerre road by UST; exposing my day old baby to contaminated air by teargas!!!

I feel as if it is war! My next problem is how to get food for her baby-friendly phase!!!

How to get food? Were you not in this country before now or the lockdown threw you from space and you just landed here, hence your unpreparedness?

Like I'm not a citizen too lol... I'd have preferred they shared money though... Not like I really need the food... But for people around me... It's like we are always the last person the govt attends to... We don't benefit much here... Even if I was given I'd still give it out.... I'm far from greed...

If what you stated above is true, the only reason he/she wouldn’t have gotten an Sms is only if he/she has changed phone number and the registered phone number with lasrra isn’t functional.

How does changing phone number affect address? Is it in d phone that d govt will drop d rice?
