Guys, let's not criticize for the sake of it. Ventilators are very scarce around the world now, and even with your money, you might not find to buy.

Yes, we can castigate the Nigerian government for not making healthcare a priority over the years but under the current circumstances, every government is trying its best to lay its hand on as many ventilators as it can. Trump had only a few days reached out to Putin and received a number of Ventilators from Russia as well.

This is not the time to be proud, we need all the help we can get at this time.
one of those that put us in this mess, we have heard u ,maybe those of us at home with no hope of three square meals ,we now contribute to this corruption laden government to fight Corona abi? People that failed to fight corruption, hunger, nepotism, tribalism and ethnic hatred with oil free money, will now turn around and fight Corona with public donations?keep deceiving ur disciples not we,u can compare Russia no bi only America.

Did they solicit for help under an individual Twitter page?. What stops our nation from making an official request to relevant persons involved?. You are the one that lack basic comprehension.
Wailing without sense. Read the Twitter request from tesla and see if the response was in order or not.

It is not a crime to beg especially when life is involved. But given that we have the resources to get on without external invervention makes it all wrong.
Our leaders are crooks, simples!

You see you have no evidence.

What's even more evidential was that the president spoke about activities from that day.

I'm now convinced you didn't read my comments before quoting me.

If you can't differentiate between what is recorded and what is not, then I'm afraid you will also mistake Nollywood movies as Live broadcast.

The United States government didn't sit and wait for countries to donate relieve materials to them while their lawmakers buy cars.

Can you explain how Buhari was able to say this on the 29th of March?

By the morning of March 29th, 2020, the total confirmed cases within Nigeria had risen to ninety-seven

But why write it online for the world to see, knowing how Elon musk is, I know he will give us the ventilator but why not write an official later to him instead of this tweet. Elon must is a very free person.

Didn't the health minister say another thing a few days ago?
https://www.nairaland.com/5766441/coronavirus-nigeria-may-not-need

If we don't need so many ventilators why is the Ministry of Finance begging for the same amount we allegedly have?

Is there a Ministry of Confusion responsible for this miscommunication? undecided

Shebi innoson said he can produce ventilors? Why not give a trial? What do we even produce in dis corn tree?

Innoson CANNOT make a ventilator. A ventilator is not a car AC. There are software that have to be developed to work in concert with the patient's vital readings. In essence, ventilators are specialized equipment. Even when Trump told car manufacturers in the US to start making ventilators, he was told it would take time before they can get up to speed on that.

At best, Innoson would make some mechanical respirators, not something a patient would want to trust their life with

Dumb post.

They are begging like almajiri on twitter. Is that how other countries are requesting for help? They could have sent a formal request for help to bodies around the world. The particular post even excludes Nigeria because Nigeria is not a Tesla delivery region.
