Little thing some Nigerians would start annoying chest beating.
Many people at home around the world can make this diy home masks.
The videos are all over YouTube.
If they are so inventive, they should have produced the highly technical N-95 masks that requires more technical input.
Innovation and chest beating only comes when someone or organisation can use just the principles of a complex or technical product and produce it using materials at his/her disposal.
Why are they not manufacturing ventilators that even some people in the West are starting to produce using mere kitchen, automobile or even farm tools.
Ordinary, not even that very effective face mask, chest beating has started.
When they produce ventilators, only God knows the kind of noise people like that would make!

Nice from Aba guys but they a Governor like senator Governor ifeanyi okowa (Ekwueme)to turn abia state around cheesy

I still remain Ada ogwashi cool
And what has your Okowa achieved as Governor after almost five years now?

Abia State was pillaged by Orji Kalu and Theidore Orji so it will take time to revive the state.

Seems you allowed yourself to be deluded by APC propaganda spread by people who hardly travel out of their region.

Okezie Ikpeazu needs to raise his game but he definitely is not as bad as he is painted by certain elements..

Abia is better than more than 32 states in Nigeria.

Fact.
You dey mind the confused people...

It is always, Abia, Okezie Ikpeazu and Aba ..

Meanwhile, we have stares like Osun, Cross River, Ekiti, Kwara and the like where one is pressed to ask whether there is governance in the first place ..

Other than driving fancy cars and being one of the biggest markets for Toyota, what is Nigeria good for?
Like seriously.

Based on those pics, which year is Nigeria in? Serious Question

Speaking for myself, I found the pics embarrassing. Some might disagree and call it development.

How can one take baby steps for 60yrs and still be a toddler? Smh

All our Politicians should be lined up n stoned. But next election you people will simply rinse n repeat. While abusing each other online. Not realizing the joke's on YOU

After going through the thread... I have come to realise that we are our problem..

Someone complained of it not being sterilized.
Someone complained why it's not ventilator.
Someone called it trash.
Someone said its embarrassing.

We truly are our hindrance to growth..

Why use Aba?
Makes the title seem u calling it inferior.

Why not say "Nigerian made"?

You are being mesmerized by the figment of your imagination. The term, Aba Made, should not conjure a person to think inferiority unless the person is sick in the head.

Aba has always been Nigeria's technology and innovation capital. There's nothing they focus their minds on that they cannot manufacture.

God has blessed Aba forever.
God has blessed Alaigbo forever.

There is nothing special about face mask (I sewn two last week for my personal use).

Innoson or anybody doesn't need permission of the Federal Government to manufacture ventilator or any medical device.

BeautifulMind2:
Aba made, nothing impossible for Igbos just give them necessary support, Innoson has promised to manufacture ventilators if government give them go ahead order.

Is Aba not in Nigeria, or is it in Japan? Abeg give credit to Aba guys, they are making us proud. Besides, it's not the OP that called it Aba made, it's from the labelling. The labelling on the face masks advertised it as Aba made, this is because people are afraid of masks from China.

He is right. The people making the masks should wear masks and gloves, unless the whole batch us sterilised after completion, before packaging. One sneeze or cough will contaminate the whole batch. Many countries are reporting that masks from China are already contaminated with the virus they are trying to prevent.

Did anybody say something was impossible for them
I was expecting the comment to go something like this :
Aba manufacturers could easily produce some very useful commodities needed at the moment like Face masks, hand Gloves etc. let the Government look inwards as this would significantly help in the country's Fight against the Pandemic..
you know something along that lines. Pls remove Tribalism and Sentiments from your heart, one of the Biggest lessons The COVID-19 Situation has taught us is that the human family is one Family the more united we are the farther we would go as a Planet to beat this Invisible enemy
