The LASG don’t produce this food items themselves, they have to buy them off from either individuals or organizations that produce them. What this simply means is that money would exchange hands between them and that’s an economic activity. With the lock down, the possibility of having this items sold by this organization or individuals would have been reduced. So the action of the state government to buy off this items from this people in large quantity is an economic stimulus package to that sector.

D first question u should ask urself is this: was d rice that was bought produced in Lagos state? If it wasn't produced in Lagos state, how's buying rice for distribution in lagos now a stimulus for d economy of Lagos state?

How was d rice procured? Are u aware of how d rice was procured? How many contractors were involved in procuring d rice?

What d Lagos state govt is calling "economic stimulus package" isn't economic stimulus package. It is simply providing palliatives for people by distributing relief materials. Its what charity organisations and philanthropists do. Its also what is done for people in IDPs or those who have been victims of natural disasters like flooding. How's that an "economic stimulus package"? That simply entails distributing relief materials like food, drugs, mattresses, roofing sheets to ease d burden of suffering on people in d short term.
