From what I have read here, the following are required in addition to the ones below NIN photo copy(for e-passport) Application form Pay/acknowledgement slip. You may go with state of origin to avoid stories as it's DIY *Guarantor's form not Needed* for renewal. Cyrilade01: 1 Like 2 Shares |

DIY New/Fresh International passport Stage 1: Register on their website and pay 25k +1k for service charge...total 26k Stage 2: still on the website, print guarantors form, acknowledgement form and Payment Receipt. Stage 3: Take the form to your guarantor to fill, your guarantor will attached passport photograph, photocopy of international passport data page, and photocopy of NIN or Drivers licence. Stage 4: Take the guarantor's form to court for stamp(they will collect 500 naira or 1k) Step 5: Go to your selected centre for capturing I used Ikoyi, Lagos State, so I will be using Ikoyi as an example. Doc to take to Ikoyi, passport office 1. Application form 2. Acknowledgement form 3. Payment Receipt 4. Filled and stamp guarantors form with international passport DATA page and NIN slip or Drivers licence 5. 2 passport photograph (your own) 6. Photocopy of NIN slip 7. Photocopy of Birth certificate 8. Photocopy of State of Origin You can also go with original of 6,7 and 8 Step 6: When you enter Ikoyi passport office, by the right hand you will see a "Servicecom" sign, speak with any of the staff sitting inside the cubicle. He/she will collect all your document vet it and return it with a another documents and ask you to photo it and fill(make sure you photocopy it before filling) After filling retire it to the "ServiceCom" person . He or she will open a file for you and write places you have to go for signing and stamping. After stamping in one place, ask the person "where is next" politely and follow through the process. When you're done with capturing, before stepping out of the capturing hall, a man will collect your file and register it. After that, take your file back to the "ServiceCom" personnel and your DONE. God bless Nigeria and God bless everyone that contributed on here. 24 Likes 9 Shares |

Thanks everyone for the guidance i got here. I successfully got captured today. MY ORDEAL TODAY AT THE IMMIGRATIONS OFFICE After reporting for duty at work, I took off and travelled to the immigration office. As I was alighting from the bike ride I took from the junction. One good Samaritan did like he wanted to use same bike and also paid for me. He asked what I came for I told him too.(he wore mufti so I didn’t suspect) , we went to a biz centre just close to the immig gate. He got a file arranged it for me and then he now asked who was processing for me and wanted to take me to someone. I told him I had a link already and mentioned the name he said ok, then freed me after parting with #200. I went to the said link who was supposed to a senior officer name (bad move). They looked at my file, then someone went out with it and then he came back and said pay 6k to process the file then later on I’d pay 15k for publishing the pp. Holy Mo! I asked ”so I should have like 21k?” they said yes. I asked them to give me back my file. The man was shocked, this time I was trying to suppress the tears that were already welling up my eyes( I can just be a cry baby kikikikikikiki...). I now called the Abuja line and told them my experience amidst tears in fact the man had to hand the line over to a lady. They asked me to go to Servicom and if I encountered any hitch I should call back. Ghen ghen. This time I was now matching like PMB’s foster child. I enter okada from the park back to NIS. 2 Likes |

PART 2 Back to NIS, I asked the desk officer for servicom office, she said just ask them upstairs(no definite direction). I went up asked someone and I found myself in Servicom office. Na here part two start. I told hm that I was directed to them by Abuja to renew my passport and name change too cos ive processed and paid online. He said ok that means id pay for name change in the office. I said said Abuja said I don’t need to pay for any other thing and if I encountered any problem I should call them BACK. At this point my status changed. He collected my file back from the lady and wrote SERVICOM at the head and bottom. I now entered blacklist . the first office had to comply because Servicom lady told them I’m from Abuja. Next office said I have to register with 5k for change of name, I told her Abuja said to pay any body cbla blab la......\. She said well you’d wait in the canopy for the PCO. My people, I waited PCO came back from wherever few minutes later . They told him I said I was going to call Abuja bla bla bla so the man was already red (he’s dark skinned tho) before we met. He now said I should call the Abuja people yada yada yada. Well at this point Wisdom came in handy after the venting he sha opened my file (did whatever with it gave, it to his officer they went out came in and then took me to the capturing room. After 2 persons I was captured and I left filling fulfilled without having to pay a dime . PS. I DID RENEWAL/CHANGE OF NAME. Docs I submitted. 1. Change of name docs(newspaper publication, marriage cert, affidavit) 2. Application for change of name typed and signed 3. Consent letter from hubby 4. Payment slip from the portal 5. Application form from the portal 6. Copy of expired passport 7. Copy of hubby’s DL 8. LGA of origin cert Challenges • States issue only the standard epassport(you get enhanced only in Abj and Lag for now)’ • Scarcity passport booklets Abuja guys confirmed this also. Lesson learnt--when you blow hot sometimes also calm down but still stand your ground. 5 Likes |

Hello house! I collected my passport today. Captured on the 9th of March. Collection date was for 12th, but I gave them a week to do away with whatever madness the devil wanted to deposit in them. I decided to go today cause Federal parastatals might go on break amidst this pandemic. I got to Ikoyi by 10am, immediately dropped my slip in the basket after making a copy. I waited for about 6hours (4:30pm) before I could get my passport. It was already past 3pm and some officers were already closing for the day, before they came out to attend to people without connect. They just had to let us in and looked for our passports, after they had attended to the people that paid them (their clients) all through the morning and early afternoon. It was a stressful process but I didn't regret the DIY process cause some people that paid some officers actually had issues. My advice is DIY and be patient to see it through. It works! 1 Like |

One man was shouting and threatening over the phone to beat an officer when he returns on Monday. Apparently, the officer didn't show up to facilitate the man's process to collect his passport. The man said he paid the officer 100k for 32 pages. I'm guessing it's the 10years passport. The man still waited with us till past 3pm before they attended to him, and trust me when I say he arrived around past 9am. |
