GLAM Computers A Scam by Mrlouis: 10:18am On Mar 07, 2020
Having stumbled upon Glam technologies, a computer/laptop dealer on Facebook with their very mouth watering price, I want to inquire if anyone here has purchased laptops from them at the said promo price and how the outcome went. Anyone?? I will do my findings

You're the one we should be wary of here, you didn't state what happened, you didn't post any proof of scam ,you didn't even say anything about the findings you said you will make you just open a thread and start shouting scam,is that how things is done?

I'll advise the mod to delete this thread if you can't post proof of any scam.

Where did you see those people who bought?

Don't mind him bro. Said he saw people buying from him. I personally went to illorin to look for this scammer thinking he is legit , turned out he/they do not exist. The non-existent address he gives out is no.66 stadium road, opposite primo plaza, illorin. I went to all the places which are meant to be in the area but such a place doesn't exist. Infact asked a lot of people but none of them knows the place.. the kind of businesses going on there is completely different even. I called him, he said I should wait he's coming..He stopped picking my calls and ignored me..

Immediately I exposed him on WhatsApp, he cursed me and blocked me. Same thing I found out he did to others who went there. It's all a one man deal. They have no corporate entity whatsoever.

The scammer cleverly put that address in illorin knowing very few will have the time to go check it out. Believe me he has swindled many, these ones saying they purchased laptop computers from him are either plain dumb, his accomplices, or he sold a few sets to gather trust and swindled the majority.

He has other Facebook accounts which I believe he owns that testify they received the said laptops but it's all a smokescreen to trick unsuspecting fellows.

It's real, go to Facebook and search, you'll see another page opened by people who went to the so called address and he was no where to be found. He ignored their calls and blocked them So where does he dispatch the so called brand new laptops he claims to sell? From the sky? I even chatted up one fake Facebook account testifying to the goodness of the "company" and the person said " the laptop was delivered by their branded vehicle".
This account was most certainly hacked and used to mislead people into thinking Glam computers is real and legit meanwhile they are far from legit. When I checked the person's timeline, the person was active on Facebook before now but his/her last public post was January this year but could reply my message very quickly.. isn't that fishy?

He cleverly put that fake non-existent address there and will even send you same but once you are pesistent in going to the address, he will block and ignore your calls/chat

Anyone reading this and still sends him money is just funny and will realize his/her folly soon
I rest my case .

You're ranting, how can you say someone is a scam if you have no proof of scam,if you know someone the company scam let the person share his or her experience.

That way we will take you serious, you can't come here and say you want to do your findings ,and after that you start shouting scam without posting about your findings.

Post your proof ,then the mod will add their details to the scammer thread, that's all.

You expose him on WhatsApp yet you can't post pictures here, you went to the place yet you can't post pictures.

Whether he is a scam or not, things are not done this way.

Check other scam thread here on nairaland you will see people posting pictures and proof, you can't just wake up one day and start shouting scam without proof.

I just check your profile this is your second thread shouting scam with no proof.
How do you expect anybody to take you serious?

Funny.

Counter fake address? I'm i the owner of the address?

It seems you and the op have comprehension problem.

Read my post from the beginning again , hopefully you will understand my point.

In fact because of his claims I had to search for these so called Glam on Facebook and I didn't see anything scam other than his own thread on nairaland.

Is there anything wrong in posting links to this Facebook post that talked about Glam scamming them?

He said he exposed him on WhatsApp why can't he post pictures here.

See man I don't know this Glam,I'm in Lagos state but I have seen a lot of thread on nairaland here where someone will shout scam and at the end of the day he couldn't proof the scam.

If you visited the address, post pictures of the said place,he said he chat with one of the people that testified on the page yet he couldn't post pictures.

Well whether he is a scam or not ,I think it's a reasonable thing to ask for proof.

That's my point, and not just coming here to post about scam with no proof of scam.

My 2 cent.
I'll do my own findings too, since posting pictures is a big deal for you.

I have been chatting with him for some days now. I should I have buy the statue but I had to shuffle the money for another use.

I even messaged him on whatsapp telling him what I read on Nairaland. He said anyone that has a proof of him being scammed should show it.

I was even thinking of going to Ilorin to buy it in person by early April.

If he knew he has been scammed, he should show the proof to us, the pictures of his payment to him, the picture of the office he went to in Ilorin. Then we can now believe you.

People will be shouting scam scam scam without making any findings and giving out proof.

To me I'm not saying he shouldn't draw the attention of others if he feels the advert is too good to be true.

My only problem with the op is his refusal to post at least even one screenshot of his conversation with the man he said he exposed on WhatsApp and got block or the screenshot of the person he chatted on Facebook.
Instead he said he owes me no proof.

Well that's his own problem.

My brother I believe you, I am currently looking of buying a laptop. I saw these Glam Computers adverts and I came to Nairaland to see if they are swindlers or a legit outlet. Obviously there is nothing legitimate about them like I suspected. Thank you and I advice you conserve your energy, don't waste it on deaf ears.

I'm glad for your last statement. For everything you do, you get a reward.

So bro, follow ur mind and do what you think it suits you. I ain't here to sell laptops or anything. I only tell him that I was an intending customers of His who chatted with him. If not bcoz of the lock down I should have been in Ilorin to get the laptop I wanted to buy from him.

I even send a friend of mine who is in Unilorin To Help me check the address and confirm it. He confirmed it that they sell computers..
do you think it's easy to gather money and get swindled of it?.

If you have the evidence that you're scammed, show us and we learn from it.

His prolly doing legit business with one of the account, and using another account with fake location in kwara for his yahoo work.
