So the Virus will be sleeping from 8AM to 2PM?

No new cases, no deaths... They can relax the lockdown and ease back to normal economic activities before anarchy sets in... There's a limit to what an average Nigerian can take.

They can however, maintain border closure or censure to prevent importing new cases into the state...

7 to 14 days are enough for the very sick to show symptoms, and be well quarantined... That's the essence of 14 day lockdown... Besides, without massive testing across the nation, lockdowns no matter how long, are a waste of time.

Good, but people should be required to wear face masks, especially in crowded places like markets. The virus spreads too fast if people don’t have any form of protection. Face masks properly worn by everybody could have a synergistic effect that can slow down an epidemic dramatically, allowing the testing and isolation process to catch up.

Face masks are important, now that it has been confirmed that it can be spread by simply talking to each other

Its too early to relax lockdown my Taraba. The pandemic is just starting in Nigeria. We need to look at the trend in other countries. Hmmm am already crying in my heart & praying for a divine intervention to this in Nigeria. Only few of the leaders are really showing leadership in this epidemic. You mean state governments cant buy testing kits & source remedial antivirus drugs? We are waiting for the epidemic to overwhelm us first? Hmm we are really wallowing in ignorance. God help us in the days ahead!

I’m of the opinion that business centers and schools shouldn’t be opened yet.

Was there a need for a lockdown in the first place. Useless government bereft of all form of efficient and effective governance.

Taraba is called "Nature's gift to the nation" as the state is rich and have many ethnic groups, including Jenjo, Jibana, Kuteb Chamba ,
Yandang, Mumuyes, Mambila, Wurkums, Fulanis, Jukun, Ichen, Tiv, Kaka, Pena, Kambu, Wawa, Vute, Hausa and Ndola.

My question is "has their lockdown lasted up the incubation period of the virus? What if someone has it but still hasn't shown symptoms yet?" There's a reason why the US made their incubation/isolation period 21days.

The casuality toll in Nigeria compared to other countries on lockdown is relatively very low.
For some reason the coronavirus is not so pandemic here even as careless as some states have been. Some argue it's because of our climate here.
There's no need to extend this lockdown further.
I expect FG to do the needful by saturday.

Exactly, the borders should remain closed but lockdown should end by weekend.

This is simple, the incubation periodic this virus is 14 days, please let’s all stay inside then we know who is affected during these 14 days. You mean it’s not easy? We can if we know the gravity of what we’re dealing with, social distance, wash your hand.

I hope the Spanish flu won’t be a child’s play compared to this. This goes to those still rejecting the lockdown

Who says there is a virus in the first place? You people never seem to amaze.

What are you even saying? When you hear about the north, the first thing that comes to your mind is "Almajiri" right? You think they're all dump people? TARABA is not a core northern state just so you know, no hausa/Fulani man has ever ruled that state before. Your hatred for "Almajiris" is disgusting, just thank God he didn't make you one.

So what if we have them? But the word " Almajiri" that you used is a demeaning term that could be translated to mean poor and unfortunate. You don't get to make that call, cause you don't know their story. Have some dignity please, the didn't get to choose their lives. Have a nice day!

It’s time to get going again!! Shutting down is only causing more fear and panic!! I want my life back!! Give people the therapeutic drugs if they show symptoms, a week off work is better than MONTHS MORE OF BEING CLOSED DOWN!!! This is a slippery slope to socialism, and I don’t like it!!
Coronavirus was manufactured by a Canadian company, smuggled to a military lab in Wuhan by two chinese spies where it was weaponized. It was then released on the order of the WHO and UN secretary general and Illuminati Cult
I don't trust a damn thing coming from the NAFDAC. Got a headache, take this...it will help, but possible side effect include explosive diaharea and death. But they approved it. Tell who is really getting paid off by big pharma.

Buffon. Be spreading fake news.
