Either the useless Nigerian Govt has traded Baga and a host of Lake Chad communities to Idris Derby in return for dislodging BH just like they did in the civil war with Bakassi and Cameroun or Idris Derby knows there is a power vacuum in Aso Rock and is using that to either deal decisively with BH or as an excuse to claim parts of the troubled Chad basin.

I believe the latter is more in line as Buhari's whereabouts are subject to speculations and that of his VP is looking more like an Aboboku running for his dear life.

What I mean by the above is that we can expect the worst case scenario on the status of Buhari. Osinbanjo is in hiding fearing for his life as the cabal has vowed not to hand over to him so this may explain his missing ass. Then there is Operation ''second-eleven'' memo from the CDS which translates to a likely coup once Buhari's status is officially revealed.

Also, the brazen looting going on as we can deduce from the arson attack on the Auditor-General's Office which is linked to the stupendous COVID-19 2 Trillion naira scam and the recent NNPC directive to suddenly privatize refinaries that are yet to attain up to 20% capacity despite several billions of naira down the drain point to the fact that there is a mad scramble by the APC rats to plunder and destroy as much evidence in the wake of a major shakeup in our landscape.

Idris Derby is most likely using the power vacuum to takeover the Chad basin. How do we reconcile the fact that he is currently receiving delegates from his legislature on Nigerian soil and has not even had any contact with either the Nigerian military brass or senior govt officials?
