This man is twisting the story. Lagos has been on a lockdown for close to 2 weeks, how did the individual the governor cannot reveal his identity come in/out of Lagos.

That's very bad of him.

Why are they giving excuses? When deaths are reported abroad, do they say it is because he visited China and ate bat? Corona virus killed him is what we need to know.

Thank you o.You echoed my thoughts.Which one is underlying health condition trying to make people believe its only those with preexisting condtions who dies from it.The truth is many nigerians have underlying conditions they dont even know about due to our poor habit on medical checkup.Alot of ppl are hypertensive n so on .The man might even be asymptomatic at early stage n probably got worse later. This is what happens when tests are not going round and they giving preferences or conditions to people before they can take the tests

I believe thousands of Nigerians are somewhere now taking paracetamol for covid19.

They will go to hospital when they are about to die, some won't go because of poverty.

Governor Okowa should ease the suffering of Deltans by reducing the restrictions of movement so that people living in Delta state can move freely.

Forget all the so called panic buying and the so called social distancing jargons.

Deltans are tired and hungry of the lockdown.

Delta state is not a major coronavirus state like Lagos state, Fct Abuja.

The delta state government can still keep the border open to food supplying and medical relief vehicle while at the same time shut it to non essential commutters.

Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has announced that a man died of coronavirus in the state after visiting Lagos.

Governor Okowa took to his verified Twitter account to announce the man's demise and wrote:

"I have just been informed of another case of #COVID19 in Delta State. The individual in question, had underlying health issues and had visited Lagos State in the past two weeks. The patient presented himself late to one of our hospitals with severe symptoms.

These symptoms included difficulty in breathing. He was immediately given the necessary attention by healthcare professionals. Shortly after the specimen was taken, he passed away. However, his test results came back positive today.

In order to mitigate against the spread of the virus, we are fast-tracking our contact tracing to ensure that all those that came in contact with the deceased patient are properly isolated and tested immediately.

Again, it is important that as we work to protect the citizens and residents of our state, families and friends of individuals that are exhibiting the primary symptoms of the #COVID19 virus, do not keep it from the authorities. If you see something; say something."

So he caught the virus by just visiting lagos.
So what of we wey be landlord for lagos?
The government should endeavour to release more information to the public about those who have been able to overcome the virus cos not everyone will be able to get to isolation centres. Not all these restrictive laws of don't go out, wash your hands because people will still go out no matter what

2 weeks ago, probably before the lock down. It is possible to travel during lock down, is it not just to bribe the security agencies? Or to give good reason for travelling.

There is no impossibility in Nigeria Government
You can do and undo

I heard Lagos has been impounding vehicles trying to cross in/out of their border.

It will do us good if access to the internet can be taken away from people like you. Is Nigeria as a immuned to covid-19 or what kind of nonsense is this?

Now, this is what I'm taking about in this Country.
Imagine him traveling all the way from Delta to Lagos for medication. (Someone from a far state that needed ventilator might die before getting to Lagos for medication.)
I thought the Government should provide and install medical equipments needed to fight this COVID-19 across all states.
When is Nigeria going to be better, I asked myself this question, often.

This nitwit again? "Coronavirus is nothing more than a bad migraine...." ??
Do you even know what migraine is?
So, migraine causes cough, fever and difficulty in breathing, and tests positive for viral RNA with PCR?
Is it not better you go back to your cheap prostitution stand in Ajegunle? Ohh, I forgot, there's lockdown in place!

And you somehow think that the number of deaths recorded throughout the Nigeria since the first index case was reported is just exactly the number of Covid-19 related deaths which is still not up to 20 as at today? Use your head now!
