You're were too generous with this rating.

Movie started well. But the storyline became too "simple" that I lost interest after buck lost his second master (the mail man).


6/10 for me, mainly because I'm a dog lover

The Signal(2007)...6/10
Genre:Horror, Sci-Fi, Thriller

Stunning idea with reasonable amount of tension & suspense, but with a rather mediocre execution(acting was basically all over the place). Nice cinematography by the way, character development was ok. All in all, it was an entertaining watch.

While seeing this flick, one thing that comes to mind is the recent 5G controversial debates on various social media platforms...tis quite funny & scary frankly speaking, to imagine "5G" giving rise to something like this.

A slow paced thought-provoking and emotional flick, with a story that grabs you by the balls & never let go till the end credits starts rolling out, fused to a stunning performance that envelopes you empathically, in the world of Curtis and Samantha.
Character development was superb, the splendor of the cinematography was well emphasized by this motion picture.
The ending was very controversial, in the sense that ......................................& i totally fancied the flick for that.

The ending wasn't controversial, the ending revealed the advent of the apocalyptic storm he foretold. He was right all along.

So I thought too, but honestly, i wasn't fully convinced, that's why i asked the question at the end of the review.

IMO, the flick was primarily about a person who is suffering from a mental illness that was escalating within him.

Let's not forget one important thing that was made known to us throughout the movie, which was: Curtis was broke as hell & struggling to make ends meet, he even gets fired at work. Ok, when Samantha found out that he took a loan for the shelter she became rankled at him, cause she knew it was very unwise of him financially thus, she gets mad at him because she knew they had no funds and Curtis was building a shelter with the loan he acquired. And again, they needed to pay back the loan on the storm shelter, though the psychiatrist suggested that they go on a trip & at one time, they even planned it....................But the honest truth is that they probably can't go on this one, cause they are still in debt & have no finance for such comfort, & besides, they still have the cost of Hannah's operation to contend with.

Consequentially, I'd say that, that last scene was also a dream by Curtis, a dream were his mental state of health seems to be getting worse. That's what makes more sense to me of what the underlying ending of the movie entails. Superficially, it may also be what it is, as was shown to us, hence, making it a controversial ending for me.

I can comfortably tell you that, you are on top, remember say no be who get money day make noise pass, na pipz way no get day make noise pass. Your TV series alone has wiped out half of my movies, adding your movies to it, it's a pretty easy kill.
