Buying Russian strategic weapons in 2020 is different from Jonathan's era.
The US CAATSA came into force in 2017, those countries you mentioned except India evaded CAATSA, but Jonathan had no excuse except his usual buffoonery.

Americans with there politics/sanctions grin
I knew the turkey got sanctioned when they bought there own S400/500, they refused to sell them F35.
What would happen to Algeria if they eventually get there Su-57 jet.

US will never sell AC 130 or F 22 raptor to even its closest allies.

Closest comparable to an AC 130 we can buy is the AC-235/295 with 30mm canons, missiles and sensors.
Oga are you even reading what they wrote... They said they want to buy an innocent cargo plane and ask Denel of SA to convert into a bad ass fighting machine and you are talking of AC130 are you not the same person that said we can't buy armed platforms from the west. The C130 can be sold to Nigeria by even countries within the North Allied treaty and can be retrofitted for combat roles here in Africa or the UAE.

Ezugwu made in Nigeria MRAP.

Nigerian is getting 113 units.

Just saw this post now.
Can’t wait to see long convoys of the EZUGWU MRAPs in the north east, especially the new variant.
We shouldn’t produce this MRAP in large quantities. The NA should go for new design in the class of 4 x 4 smaller MRAPs.

The only thing that will happen to them is that they will become a stronger unprecedented fighting force. While you will be here showing us pictures of 1956 Alpha jets and calling it a combat capable platform. In the past bicycles were used for war effectively but do you still see people doing that today, should we say because one soldier killed 10 men while riding at full speed with a bicycle we should give all our men bicycle?

Tell these looters that the alpha jet is outdated and they will remind you of a once in a lifetime scenario were the Alpha jet managed to destroy a terrorist gun truck.

Why is Nigeria buying JF-17, CH-3A UCAV Super Tucano and MI-35M then?

At bolded, pray tell where I said such?

About the AC-130, You have comprehension issues I'm guessing? I quoted the dude as an aside. Nigeria can damn buy any military hardware from any blocs, union or party willing to sell. However, you don't seem to know anything about development history. Retrofitting by Denel to any C130 would take a significant period of time before their concept becomes reality unless Nigeria hasn't got any immediate need for it.
It took 3 years for Airbus Military/ATK to retrofit the AC235 and was still undergoing more modifications as the years went by. If we are talking of gunships available for service right now, those are the options I gave.

you are buying CH3A and you are happy? You are buying JF17 as your front line interceptor and you are happy?

How many are you buying = 3 how many years did it take you to buy this cheap China made jets 8 years since procurement agreement was signed. Which reliable international military is using this jet? Nobody.

CH3A how many did you buy? 4 how many are still operational: barely 2

Are the drones still playing attack roles? No now uses as ISR platforms.

What happened to the Russian MIGs, The French Rafael, The Grippens. What happened to them, why buy a jet that is grossly untested, not combat ready as can be seen by it's recent crashes during the North Quadavo Operations to drive out terrorist from the Quadavo province Northern Pakistan.

Don't link what you don't know. Links are not procurement agreement. I currently have a link where it said Nigeria will buy Submarines since 2013 do we have one yet? I even have pictures of the planned submarine being cuddled by our then first lady.

You should know by now that you are not the only one that have links on the internet. We all have links, but most of us choose to put credibility first.

You bought 5 drones? And they are still fighting and Boko Haram Terrorist is winning. That means Boko Haram must have at least 10 drones to be winning you that have 5 drones.

they said they would consider buying and I'm sure they will buy the sub..
They submitted a $1billion dollar modernization plan to the Rep in 2018 and I think they are following the plan
In the plan: 1 SDB- currently under construction
1 landing ship- under construction
1 landing platform dock-Not yet
1 general purpose frigate
1 long range patrol ship
1 medium range patrol ship
1 sub
1 helicopter- currently test flight in Leonardo facility...

You have access to the internet why not do some research before saying factless things

Do u know it got destroyed Mr Man..
ISIS used a UAV
Why can't the JF17 survive NE
A platform that can acquire 9 targets and engage 4 simultaneously
It can deliver ordinance miles away
If the alpha birds can survive why talk more of JF17

Of what strategic importance or benefit is somalia to US that they drone al shabab's commanders regularly?
Of what use are the drone bases in the first instance knowing fully well they told the American public they are using them to fight bokoharam?. Is there global antiterrorism war now dependent on how useful the country is?
Why did they block the sale of the cobras and chinook from Israel but allowed kenya to get them?
Has Iran been able to buy weapons from any country other than russia and china?
Why would you compare Iran to Nigeria militarily knowing they were allies with US before the revolution and US transferred several technologies to them, they were more industrialized than we are now yet we are already developing our local arms industries too.
I am not making a case for Jonathan, I am trying to make people realise the US is abetting bokoharam.
Apart from Italy, no one in the west sold reasinable weapons to us and we went to the east.
Algeria wasn't able to buy weapons throughout the time they were on sanctions.
