I experienced this kind of marks on my body on multiple occasions some couple of months back when I suffered series of allergic reactions. Your daughter's system might be reacting to foreign substance, which was so in my own case.

It's really sad how people are always quick to explain things away using the "spiritual" tag.

My child woke up this morning with the same kind of marks all over the back where her hand could not have possibly reached.
Please i need answers as this is really driving me nuts.

The mosquitoes are actually demons sent to perch on my skin and cause me to scratch away. if I hear!

To be honest, I wasn't initially going to comment on the thread and its OP but all the ludicrous comments on demons or whatnot is taking it too far.

For those not in the know, it is mites that is causing the marks on the body.

Some are bound to be abused by mites when sleeping on mites-infested beds like in hotels etcetera or from sleeping on mats or mattresses placed on the floor, which they easily crawl on to from the ground.

Another thing that attracts them to their victims is carbon dioxide. The CO₂ air-draught that is emitted from sleeping with the mouth left open, is what attracts the mites to their victims to burrow into their skins to suck blood. It is the mites burrowing on the skin that leaves the body marks.

Most people are immune to mites attacks, but for the unfortunate ones that aren't, it usually isn't a nice experience to have.

Three people might sleep in the same bed or room with only one attacked by the mites, this is due to individual body physiological make up

As I suspected, I saw marks on my leg this morning. I felt slight pain while bathing.

Feeling slight pain when having bath is normal, the mites burrow the skin finding veins before sinking in their mandibles to feed and gorge on the victim's blood.

The mites burrowing causes welts on the skin.

Water contact with the welts causes irritation or slight pain sensation. The welts dries up and heals after a few days, leaving no permanent scars behind.

The experience is re-lived when next one has a mite encounter or attack

Pls, don't let it worry you. With or without treatment it will go away. Please check if her hands (nails) can reach the body area in question. If they can, she probably scratched herself.

However, if you decide to act in case its spiritual, Don't do anything fetish (in the name of prayers). If she were 14years and above, then it could be serious.

You don't even need a Pastor to pray for your child, you have been given a spiritual authority over her; use it.

I used to know someone whose skin would swell whenever it was just lightly scratched. So we used to forcefully write things on her with blunt objects and watch it rise above her skin so clearly within seconds.

He looks big enough to reach his back with his hands. If he has that kind of skin and scratches himself at night, it may look like that, or if he wore something that has a hard detail like a zipper to bed.

At times she goes to take her bath, pours waters and then boom!!! An area pains her.

Has she been to see a doctor about the problem? I remember I used to have such marks on me, and it turned out it had to do with dry skin/irritation. I found a very good moisturizer for it and within a month the problem vanished. Of course, dry skin doesn't just go away like that. So whenever I have any skin irritation issues, I find myself a very good moisturizer to use.
