1) no deadline for now.
2) study centers are closed so you cannot go for screening.
3) yes, it is possible to transfer to another study center.
4) you can run it in one year.

klique:

I am a NOUN Masters holder... I hold a BSc degree from UNN...

Going to NOUN was a mistake for me, I would have sacrificed more and go for a conventional University...

I have been applying for lecturing jobs for more the 3 years now, to no avail. I have no other choice than to attribute it to the certificate I presented.

Just an eye opener, it seems they are just using us for revenue generation, they do not want to intervene in the stereotyping that have rendered their certificates almost useless...

The only thing the certificate is useful for is to further your studies, no big industry takes it serious.

You may be right but you could also be 100 per cent wrong. I have friends with M.Sc. and M.Eng from conventional Universities who have been applying for lecturing jobs for more than three years but have not secured one. Where were u when Ph.D holders who happened to be jobless applied for Dangote truck driving jobs?
To secure a job in this country is quite hard hence it is somehow to attribute your failure in securing the job to your certificate. Let me ask you this. Your first degree cert, how easy was it securing a Federal job or good job for you? Think again.

There is a difference between securing a job and participating in the recruitment process. Others would be invited but they will not invite me.

How do you explain that na? Assuming they invite me and I participate and fail, that would be different...

Please don't say that. Do you know how many persons apply for jobs with awesome results and their files are been trashed?

Because you weren't called for interview doesn't mean your NOUN certificate caused it. NOUN is a very good school to attend. Ask those that have evidenced it.

Ain't you asking why every semester NOUN gets alot of new applicants.

Better go and ask why you are not getting interviews and stop blaming NOUN

If you must know, people have secured job with NOUN certificate e.g me
It is simply because you are not suitable and lucky, not your certificate.
Even if you go to the best uni in World, that does not mean you will get a job in this country called Nigeria.

In summary, develop yourself, pray for luck or look for good connection in order to secure a job in this our country

u are very correct. I had the same mindset which made me abandon a programme I was doing then but recently I met a guy that did his masters in NOUN who's now a lecturer in a federal University. yes he did PhD in a conventional Uni. I had to come back.
meanwhile, I know jobless PhD holders. I know one that's currently doing adjunct with a state Polytechnic. he did B.a, M.A n PhD in UI
