Something is not adding up, Nigeria with her poor healthcare system is discharging patients with very minimal deaths but US with their plenty resources and high level health care is recording more deaths......... angry

Nigerians are younger and stronger generally. The relationship between affluent living (America) and ordinary hardship living (Nigeria) in the context of health and life expectancy is complex. On one hard access to relatively developed health care system, transportation and food accessibility in America may lead to higher life expectancy yet individuals in the system may be less naturally fit and healthy than individuals in Nigeria existing in a more physically demanding environment subsisting on relatively little but more organic foods. Interestingly, research is finding that Fasting, which could be viewed as the indirect and unplanned for consequence of subsisting on one meal a day, has many health benefits. Generally, though, Nigeria has, if not the youngest population in the world, then one of the youngest. Young people are dying of Covid but nowhere near as much as the elderly.

If they open churches and ask corona patients to come for healing you'll still complain that they're not obeying Government orders.

Can't they go to isolation centers and heal them?
must it be inside church?

Abi shrine dey inside church?

It is well. I hope NIGERIANS realize that this is real because I still know many people who still think this is just a political strategy.

Be safe out there

Be analytical. Divide deaths by total cases for comparative purposes.

The blacks are not. What do you understand by disproportionate?Majority are whites, about 70% or so.

They just said out of the data from a portion of hospital patients, 46% from 70% were whites, 33% of 15% were blacks, 5% from 18% were Hispanics, hence the disproportionate, but you know how white media are, they just twist the truth.

I’m not sure I explained it properly so I attached a pic.

Generally, Nigerians have better, healthier teeth and gums than Americans in spite of America’s better healthcare industry and more affluent standard of living. However, I believe that one-day objectivity will prevail upon the dogma of race and nationality and the current indices used to measure well-being and development will change to give fewer bonuses to materialism.

1. They are overwhelmed, we are not. Most need for ventilators n direct care. Over 100k cases compared to our 300
2. Most people in d US battle with diabetics n pnemonia, those underlying health conditions have made treating dem on Covid unproductive.

The flip side of this is that it shows how low Nigeria's life expectancy is and that is not a good thing.

The weather and built up immunity in tackling dangerous diseases like malaria and typhoid are on the side of Africans. It is a case of lose some and win some.

However, eleven deaths out of just over 300 is a little worrying, unless it can be attributed to the fact that' some of the casualties are returnees who were already at the point of no return.

Nigeria is treating its patients using both scientific and alternative medicine (ginger ,garlic etc). The US has a high number of citizens with underlying infections and uses scientific drugs alone.Thats why there is a high death rate in the US.I am a covid 19 survivor here in the US and I used ginger ,garlic and lemon. And also ,most sufferers in Nigeria have no underlying infections.

The average age of death from coronavirus in the US is not 81 years stop misleading people. Lots of people in their 30's, 40's, 50's are dead.
oga I have facts to back it. Covid 19 kills more of the Old,go and check facts yourself. It also kills more of people with underlying illness like diabetes, cancer etc. Thats why is not rare to see deaths of some at 30-40 though they are few. More than 85% of the deaths are from age 70+...and do you know what average means....average is taking all ages that have died and divided by the total number to get the average figure.

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/COVID19/index.htm

Above is their CDC statistics of all data involving demography of those dead...Check for yourself the age of those that have died...the CDC stats shows all data for sex, age, etc for the covid deaths in the US

Pastors don't heal people, God does. Even Jesus Christ didn't heal without your faith being but to work.

had they been on lockdown before it spreads everywhere, they'd have fewer deaths. Moreover our immune system is far better than theirs. Many Nigerians are inviting problem out of stupidity /carelessness by going around unnecessarily as if nothing is happening. The number is going up everyday yet.....

About 11 deaths in 300 isn't minimal at all statistically.
That is about 3 percent.

Compare the death rate with other countries and see what I'm talking about. Ours is even fairly high.
Many countries have lesser.

USA you mentioned is at 4%
They have thousands of cases meanwhile.
