The Most Important Thing is Love and Fear Of God.

I got married to my beautiful and loving wife fourteen years ago. We courted for four years before marriage and me strictly observed no sex before marriage. We both came from a background that discouraged premarital sex and we were cool with that. While we were dating, I observed that she was always having severe menstrual cramps and pain for 2-4 days every month but we never took it as something serious.

On our wedding night, I knew something was wrong as she was in severe pain during sex. I knew she was not a virgin before marriage because she told me about an unfortunate incident that happened to her when she was very young. It was quite obvious to me that she doesn't enjoy sex because of pain and the fact that her parent circumcised her. (How I hates her parents for this).

I love my wife dearly, and the thought of being unfaithful to her never crossed my mind. Over the years, God has been giving me the inner strength to show great understanding to her emotional needs and improvise for our sexual life. I know that on her part, she is making constant sacrifices to endure the pains just to please me. There are periods she becomes paranoid that I will leave her. Her reactions is understandable as we have been TTC for 13 years. We have been to several hospitals and have spent so much money on medical procedures and IVFs. Initially she was diagnosed of fibroid and she had two hysteroscopy to remove the fibroid. We tried another IVF after the surgery to no avail.

Her menstrual and ovulation pains got progressively worst and she developed the accumulation of bloody fluids in her tummy. She was initially misdiagnosed by two high profile hospitals of liver cancer and ectopic pregnancy respectively. These were very difficult period for us. But thankfully she was eventually diagnosed of severe endometriosis and she commenced treatment immediately. It took thirteen years for doctors to diagnosed what was wrong with my wife-ENDOMETRIOSIS.

Most doctors often overlook endometriosis as the leading cause of infertility in women. The pains of endometriosis is indescribable and very few people also understand that husbands whose wives suffers from this ailment do suffer emotional pains and stress.

With hormonal treatment, her pain is now manageable. We are still hopefully TTC. My parents and siblings have been very supportive. They know I love my wife dearly and they respect our privacy and decisions.

This is our story.

I narrate this story to encourage all those who are TTC not to give up in showing love to their spouses and to have the fear of God. I prayerfully and earnestly look forward to the day my wife will carry our baby in her arms with a smile in her eyes.

I know a woman that suffered the same thing she was operated by a private hospital and they were not to do the surgery after that gwagwalada specialist hospital attended to and was, able to separate the intestine but couldn't go further. It was in, Nisa premier hospital we met because at that time my wife went for major fibroid surgery .that sister was treated successfully at that hospital

i saw my period 16/2 lasted for 4days & 16/3 saw it which lasted for 4days too, when am i likely to ovulate and what's my cycle as i am likely going to see if 15or16 of this month

The longest time in a cycle is this 2ww. God! The anxiety alone can cause the pregnancy to say I'm not doing again. This is my day 8 POD and I'm expecting AF on Sunday 19. I just try to calm down incase I get disappointed. I did HCG test this morning and saw a BFN clear negative line , even though I'm sad but not as sad as February result. Keep trying continues. My only worry is the severe menstrual pains I have all through AF days and even some days after. I'm waiting for AF already this April, I'm no longer anxious. But I was already hoping that I will come out with a testimony in this lockdown.

Funny enough, I am also expecting AF on Sunday too although, I have a long cycle of 45 days. I haven't tested at all. Waiting to see what happens on Sunday first before taking the next step.

Some people take vitex. It’s good for women fertility and hormonal balance. But I don’t encourage taking fertility supplements except you’ve had tests to confirm your body actually needs it.

After the party we retired inside and was just gisting forgetting about the whole episode, like play like play JT don rise. This time we didn't even bother about the Preseed, Kia Kia put am inside. I didn't even care about enjoying it, the goal was let him ejaculate. My prayer was just 'God let him release, let him release'. He showed mercy on us and he did. Next day I felt my ovulation pain and prayer point turned to 'Baby stick, baby stick'.

So basically we didn't do anything differently, just relaxed and trusted God. The funny thing is that after that episode, JT has been rising to the occasion everytime its needed.

It’s calculated based on number of days from beginning of one to the next and not actually on a said date. You can download a tracker to help you confirm how many days yours is for a cycle. It ranges between 25 and 45 days for some people though most people have 28days.

If you have a regular cycle of 28days, check for fsh,lh,prolactin and other hormones on day 3 of your cycle. You can ask the lab other important hormones to check for too on same day 3. If you have pains during your menses

There is a 100% chance that your Pelvic is inflamed. You should only have mild cramps and not pains that travel all round like some people experience.

Sometimes, inflammation starts from the vagina as just yeast infection, but as it is not properly treated, it migrates to the uterus and after a while begins to accumulate fluids, that is when scan picks it up as PID, by this time, it has eaten deeper than you can imagine.
