Different strokes for different folks. I am opined rear mounted fingerprint scanners are better position that inscreen counterparts. You can easily unlock your phone with the 2nd and 3rd fingers on each hand with easy, plus you also have alternatives to unlock your phone should incase you sustain cuts on your finger tips (me for one, scan four of my finger, and leave the 5th option for whoever I trust to use my phone).
Inscreen counterparts usually restrict the thumb to being the most prefer finger. Many of them also don't unlock on first attempt esp if the thumb is moisty... The last straw that breaks the camel's back is the cost of repairs should incase the screen needs to be replaced.... They are usually expensive.
One of the reasons some of us will choose RN7 over Mi A3

I'm not a fan of indisplay fingerprint scanner too.
I was comparing the side mounted fingerprint scanner on the RN9s and RN9 pro max to the Rear mounted one on the RN9

check notification settings for the app and also add the app to your list of non-optimised apps to prevent miui from closing the app after a while.
My notification tab seems to be fine, untouched. I tried to remove the Gmail app frm optimised list, but didn't get how you did yours. Its on optimised app lost. Can you guide me please?

*modified*
I have figured it out and applied settings.
I will observe and see how it goes

Okay. Was actually asking if the tracking was just updated recently or you've known about its arrival for almost a month now. Like, an order for a client that has been in 9ja since 10/03 but this info was just updated 2days ago.

Side mounted fps looks sexy; it doesn't look cheap, it's extremely fast on RN9S, and it works with the power button simutaneously i.e either you unlock the device by pressing the button or by touching it.. Meanwhile, if your power button gets faulty, then you can adjust to use the side mounted fps as power button.. Sounds cool right??
