There were stats which showed that a lot of old time users still like the size and screen that was why apple delved back into the SE..and people are still using the 6s and 7 in America so getting a better version of their current phone for cheap will be a great buy for them..I'm talking about American buyers who are the major buyers of apple products.

It makes no sense to me. SE has some limited functions and the processor is not that fast like the latest iPhones. I would rather use $400 to buy 1st class foreign used/refurbished iPhone X or iPhone XS 64gb.
