In 1 Timothy 2:9, we read that "women should adorn themselves in “modest apparel.” In the Greek, the word for modest is the word katastolh (katastole), and it means a long flowing garment. Kata means down – a garment flowing down; and Stole – a long garment, covering or wrapping....so in 1Timothy 2:9, women are told to adorn themselves in a long flowing garment, not a short, tight garment. That is what modest is, long and flowing. Trousers do not flow and trousers draw attention to the women’s figure.
So if you wear a pair of trousers, or even a tight skirt or tight gown, it shows the figure and it is not modest, because it doesn’t flow.

The primary responsibility of an envagelist is to preach God's words, telling people simply and clearly what God says about his messengers and what He has done for us all. It is the duty of an envangelist to deliver God's message and be faithful to every word.

However it is a difficult task for single ladies who have passion for evangelism. Most of the opposite sex do not really have interest in your message but romance and believe me some can go to any length for this.

No doubt I have passion for evangelism but my pastor has advised me against it as it brings everything controversial for all the moves I have made towards it, even online is not left out.

Pastors in the house, do you think I should give up this passion? Am I going against God's passion in me if I stop?

Don't stop, if you must go to the opposite sex, go with a partner preferably your biological brother or fiance.

If your biological brother or fiance is unserious about God and religion, go with a female friend of yours but ensure you never enter a man's house, only meet guys in public spots like bus stop, eatery and retail outlets in company of your female friend. Don't enter any mans house if no male is with you.

If you must go preaching alone without male or female friend with you, then don't ever preach to guys. Selectively preach to young girls around you.

If you still prefer preaching to male more than female folks and you don't want to be in company of a friend, then you need Jesus because you dey find something

Prophetic calling is the 2nd highest office of the five ministry gift. You don't prophesy in your house but in the church. A prophetess is a preacher, okay?

Prophesy is for the church not for the individual or woman and for Paul to mention a woman covering her head to prophesy, it means women in the church then did minister to the church with their prophetic gift. God! You're not so good at deduction. What he did was that he was just being detailed. That rape led to a kid, (that the kid has medical condition is an additional information) but didn't imply rape causes downsyndrome. Haven't we seen kids from rappe incidents that don't have downsyndrome?

You need to acquire necessary tools if this is your vision, calling and passion. Read book on the likes of kathryn kuhlman, Smith Wigglesworth,
Aimee Semple McPherson, Oral Roberts, Reinhard bonnke, your bible and your will see they didn't subdued by their fresh, strength but by the power of the Holy Ghost... you need the fire of the Holy Ghost no opposite sex can withstand that. You will fulfilled you vission, calling and passion effortlessly. Create thing to seek God's understanding, power of the Holy Spirit and the Lord's lead you. One time some boys in the hood saw a Ghanaian from a Baptist church over here, she was very shaped and she loved to preach one on one, sadly they deceived her like they were listening, they followed her to church the next Sunday but did not go for the next one month.

She went to visit them, and they gave her a simple chilled Coca-Cola and when she drank it she went unconscious, only to wake up covered with speerrrm and naked on a bed after the six guys had wrecked havoc on her.... They had everything on tape and threatened to expose her if she did not obey them. She was too scared, she ran back to Africa and never returned.

Right now I hear she is in Ghana Adult film industry. That encounter gave her a downsyndrome child. But she ain't a Christian no more.


So sis, never go alone. They may be planning for you. Pls be prayerful and watch you back. Also get pepper spray.


I personally go only with church group, it's safer and wiser. It is high school over here I go to speak to teenage girls so they can behave better.

Well, it's good to know many people still recognize decent and indecent dressing these days, there was a time when the language was "dressing doesn't matter, God only sees my heart"

My Dear, i want to encourage you to continue and do it with all your heart, do not compare yourself with your mates who are doing other things and seem to be progressing, doing the work of God with all your heart will bring you great rewards in the end.
Try to avoid immorality by all means, it's a Satanic trap, i pray for you, you'll find a Godly and supportive Husband and a great future but God First always.

Marketers know and employ the same tactic so I don’t see why this is an issue. I share in your anxiety but a better way for evangelism in certain areas where Ladies excel more than the Men


For example, The hospitals, Nursing and maternity home, female prison section and the brothels.

Trust me , we will acknowledge the roles of a female evangelists in those areas.

Dont go where you have passion but where you are instructed

Most of all, your speech, mode of dressing , approach , spiritual wisdom and direction and God word are hallmarks that will make your non pulpit ministry stand out.
