My opinion
If am to advice you, I will say you should do business

Because a wise man once said, " you should be happy to own a company you matter how small, not a job" because a company is an investment your children can inherit not your job, if you die as an employee before your burial you might have been replaced, or you can be fired while alive, baby just go for business

Invest 2M in abuja real estate. Buy lands.

Invest 1M in yourself( take a professional course)

Invest 1M in travel: Go to dubia and enjoy life

Put 2M in fixed deposit

Have 1M cash

Do not scare him with ochanja market fire ,A standard business should have insurance cover for theft/fire or any damage caused by any natural occurrence except op is going to start a business that is not well organized and registered, he can start start a business, but should be sure it is profitable and with lower risk..then as the business grows ,he can go for his masters and PhD as well, education has no end ,people have 5 PhDs or more.
This your mentality no good .

It's not about what you want us to tell you, because people will tell you what they prefer rather than ebay is good for you

Truth is where so you have passion for? The yields of education in Nigeria can take tremendous time especially if you don't know anyone or have connection. So if you are ready to go through that cool.

But you see business? The yield is promising and relatively faster.
If you are going to go into business, I'd suggest you find the industry you want to venture in and then pay someone in it already and do small apprenticeship for a months or a year.

Don't just venture into business because others are doing or because of what you see by face value.

Good luck

Once again follow your heart.

Scientists:
Do Business brother. Forget all those big title attached to Education. If you don't have money, you are nothing.

Implying that "all big titles" would lead to nothing is not true.

There are people who have acquired higher degrees and then go on to do great things making lots of money in the process.

Quality education doesn't stop you from doing anything (doing any business) — it helps you to do more.

8m is much for masters, with 2m you are done with masters depending on the school immediately after MSc go for your PhD,sometimes the business might fall, what will you use to pay your workers? some of those people that their shop got burnt at Ochanja market they have not recovered any thing till now, that's business.
There are many opportunity in the education sector, August last year my school recruit 400 staff.
If you insist on starting a business you better meet someone that studied business management for proper advice.

When u say ur school, do u mean uni or secondary school?

I don't know how old you are neither do I know how you got the N8m but if you are above 22 and you know it won't be easy for you to raise another N8m after the M.Sc, I will advise you to go into business with the money.

In few years time, if you manage the business well, people with PhD will be begging you to assist them with money.

Convert your money to $ and save and wait and watch. What's happening in the world right now will take 12months to return close to normal.

Don't rush any decision

Cash is king. Always remember that
For now just keep doing what you were doing that brought you that money, as long as it is legal
