Forget about being a pilot. There's a lot of unemployment amongst pilots. Education is a good investment if you are going to further your education in a country that allows you to easily migrate and provided a clear path to citizenship and permanent residency.

I won't really advise you to start a business in Nigeria now as the economy is seriously shrinking and with the coronavirus pandemic and falling oil prices, more people would be plunged into multidimensional poverty and the middle class will seriously shrink.

I started this last year when a dollar was about 280, now its 387 officially and clocking 400. I will leave the money in my dom account and see what value it gets to at the end of this whole lockdown

depending on your academic prowess, I will say go for an Msc abroad in Canada or UK (the UK is changing). Other doors will open while you are in any of these countries. Don't go for pilot and don't go to business else u may regret.

True talk i dont think there is any school in those country he mentioned that he can get his m.sc with 2m. He should be targeting 5m-6m including feeding and housing. Except he opt for scholarship

Get a job, or take a chill for one year before you make any move. You still don't know what's best for you, neither have you identified your strengths. Be patient..

at the end of this thread, you'll end up more confused than you were courtesy of nairalanders and their know it all attitude. don't be surprised that some of them that will advise you don't even have upto 100k 10k in their account boxes or ever ran a successful business. just follow your heart and do what you believe would be best for you

Well, about five years ago I was in the same position, only I didn't consider starting a business.

I went for aviation, and I won't lie when I got my CPL license I was frustrated because I didn't have enough flying hours, and I still had to acquire the ATPL and Type Rating.

With your 8M, you can run the whole SP course at NCAT i.e PPL, IR, MER, CPL e.t.c.

But the hard part is getting the flying hours that'll at least help you secure a job in a local carrier.

I spent a lot on aviation but now I'm enjoying the benefits. It's a quid pro quo situation. The higher you spend, the higher your chances of flexing later. No joke.

In essence, the decision is left to you because what worked for me may not work for you.

Same applies to the MSc. It may not guarantee you a job or whatever it is you plan on doing with it.
