New Refrigerator Not Cooling by Gamboh55(m): 2:06pm On Apr 19, 2020
Hello all.
I bought a new refrigerator about four days ago. However, the lower part of the refrigerator does not cool. I have tried adjusting the regulator severally even to the max to no avail.
The freezer cools and freezes food and drinks but the lower part remains warm.
Kindly advise.

PS: I don't use a stabilizer on the fridge, I plug it directly to the power source.

The upper part is the freezer, it's meant to freeze stuffs. While the lower part is just meant to be cold..

Actually you bought a faulty freezer, from what you narrated this shows there is a leakage from the copper used in the freezer..... Send it back from were you bought......

I think you should take it back to where you got it and have another one.
Hope you have the warranty?

As per user experience, once you start repairing fridge there will virtually be no end to that.

Recently purchased TC chest freezer. Impressed with the performance so far even without stablizer.

The fridge you bought ain't faulty...
The freezer is working perfectly well according to you .. So it's neither a leakage not faulty

Contact the sellers.. tell them the down part of your fridge is not cooling they would tell you what to do ..

The Cooling comes from the top through a path way between the freezer if it's mistakenly closed the down won't be cold .. so I think you closed that path way mistakenly..

I deal on fridges so I know what I'm saying

Ok..
There are two things involved her .
Either the Fan that's supposed to circulate the cooling to the down is BAD

Or the timer ...

Either ways contact the guys you bought the fridge from ...

What do some people mean by the down part is not supposed to be cool?

I had this kind of fridge before and everything cools.

The lower part doesn't cool at all. Even drinks remain warm no matter how long the fridge is in use.

But its abnormal. The lower and upper part is meant to be cooling regardless of the weather.

Had the same issue with a Hisense new fridge I bought a few months ago. I reported it and a technician was sent to fix it by refilling the gas.
I was pissed and all but at least it works now. I suggest you report it since the warranty period hasn't been exceeded.

You need a stable electricity to enjoy that fridge... The freezer compartment freezes in minutes while the lower compartment requires a long time to chill.... Before you can get a reasonable cooling action in that compartment you need atleast 2 days stable electricity... Your refrigerator is ok!

If you don't have stable electricity in your area you can't enjoy the fridge compartment but only the freezer will serve...you need atleast 15 hrs a day to enjoy it.. While the freezing compartment only needs 3 to 5hrs

lol the truth is the new generation referigerators may not even need stabilizer except you leave in an area where electricity can go bad frequently..
