The Erosion water moving through the underground drainage was much and it becomes too hard to control by the tiny walls thereby moving along with the upper soil.... Bad construction

All i know is our politicians will never die well.

Theres literally no subgrade or stonebase in that section ...how did dey even get the asphalt overlay to hang like that... Some contractors are just crazy ...feasibility study zero, Design zero, construction zero ... The supervising consultants seff r useless ... The clients too are in thsame boat.

Bad work caused by:
poor compaction of aggregates. Or Erosion or that place has at a time been a subject of mining.

Heavy rainfall in Aba, Abia State, led to a sinkhole appearing in the middle of the road in Ogbor Hill, just after Waterside.

Residents emerged from their homes to see the shocking sinkhole in the residential area.

no be by force to talk na. Don't let impulse always control u. sinkhole is a natural occurrence in many places with some kind of soil. the soil erodes gradually under the tarred rode as the result of rain overtime. you find this type of soil composition in the east. that's why u have big gullies in the east. sinkhole happens even in more advanced countries
