Sinkhole appears in the middle of a road in Ogbor Hill, Aba, following heavy downpour

Heavy rainfall in Aba, Abia State, led to a sinkhole appearing in the middle of the road in Ogbor Hill, just after Waterside.

Residents emerged from their homes to see the shocking sinkhole in the residential area.

A mini bus had been swallowed by the hole and residents gathered round the hole in shock as they took on the sight before them.

Africans will never ceased from carelessness.
Just look at those people standing at the edge of the sinkhole carelessly

As usual every one is blaming the contractor without the facts.

A sinkhole is a natural disaster that occurs without warning, and can swallow houses. Sinkholes are formed as a result of eroded bedrocks which are mostly made up of limestone, salt deposits & carbonated rocks.

Florida is currently suffering from sinkholes because it sits on limestone which is constantly being eroded.

Oga, a sinkhole is not man made. Has nothing to do with the contractor or the Governor. You can research a bit more on it before selling my state biko. We know the Governor no dey try but he did not cause this one please.

Dude, sinkhole can even happen on roads built buy the best contractor in the world. It did not happen because of the quality of the road, rather natural activities underneath. Read up on the phenomenom and you will be glad you did. Cheers
