Few hours after Governor Ikpeazu's visit to the collapsed portion of the road at Ogbor and after his assurances of immediate repair of the place, a contractor has been mobilized and repair work has started immediately.

According to IgbereTV reports, the area has been cordoned off using concrete bars.

The Contractor assured that the work will be completed in 7 days.

Bro don't be deceived by that quick response. The sinkhole got massive media coverage so the governor had to make the most out of that massive coverage.
The effort is commendable but if he had been this up and doing before now, he wouldn't have had this bad reputation among Nigerians.

Even though the swift response is commendable, the contractor that handled the initial project should be made to answer some questions.
Unless government officials have a hand in that rubbish work.
