We are very stubborn in this country. People are still going up and down. Doing interstate travels and settling security agencies on the road. Forget all the border closures you can enter portharcourt anytime and still go out. Transporters are still doing their business.

Our lock down will get to June if we keep flouting the rules

The rate of testing people is very slow, the number of confirmed cases daily is not equivalent to the number of tests conducted daily because I want to believe those that have been confirmed waited for few days to get their results.

Hence, between that time frame they are awaiting the result, individually they must have had contact with nothing less than 10 persons and if you do the Maths, it means that the number of cases we have daily will not cease and permit me to say it will continue to increase because the right measures are not taken ( from the so called testing centers, down to the average person required to stay at home).

I pray to God for help against this pandemic, I hope lagos will survive this impeding doom.

The cases are way higher. Nigeria has a very young population. Most will not even show any symptoms but can spread it to elderly and vulnerable relatives and neighbours.

We can still speed up testing and contact tracing. Soon it will be impossible to do so. When that happens, na everyman for himself. Mortuaries will stop accepting corpses.

Yes, it's could get that bad if we do not get very serious with this.

Really wish I could get why all frothing.. Remove deaths and discharged from the total cases, you get the current active case. It's standard reporting format for infections diseases.
