They gave an order and violated the order.
They should have said, the govt will do the burial with strict supervision of the CDC.Then one or two important family member with an imam or pastor to be in attendance.

Well, technically, Lai may never have lied. Kyari was buried on an empty plot of land in a public cemetery in Abuja. Except of course, he earlier mentioned that dead victims will have to be cremated after handover, which he didn't. They could have had him buried in Asokoro or his hometown but on AMAC property. The only thing we may have to raise eyebrow on is the manner in which he was buried.

The problem with this group of misguided persons is that they do not think properly before they spew rubbish to the public in the name of press release.

Yinka Odumakin has been known to write a lot of thrash with some embellishments so as to appeal to the warped sense of reasoning exhibited by a frustrated section of the society. I wish to let him know that he does not represent the Yoruba Nation and this can not speak or write on their behalf.

As usual, in his rush to play to the galley and satisfy the hunger of his misguided audience for any negative speech or write up against the government, he failed to recognise the fact that the late Chief of Staff was given a state burial since he died from infections he was exposed to when he was serving the country.

Was Abba Kyari's wife and children represented at the burial? If the man was not given a state burial he would have been taken to his origin - in Borno state - for burial.

Your assertion that blood was oozing from the corpse of the deceased was noted and I think the joke is a little bit misplaced, not because we have a poor sense of humor but because we consider it inappropriate at these sombre days.

As for Lai Mohammed, after the directives to the effect that corpses of covid19 victims should not be released, could he have stopped the Federal government from giving a state burial to a person deserving it.

I was very close to Odumakin in our student days at Ife where he read political science and I am not happy to relate with him in this manner. However, I will like to plead with him to stop embarrassing himself by always attempting to destroy whatever he can not attain.
