Hello everyone. I was on a site to order a vehicle and then i was presented an option for port of entry to Nigeria. There are 3 ports listed for Lagos namely Lagos Port, Tincan Island Port and Apapa Port so i got confused. To make the matter worse, the cost of shipping to the ports differ. Below is the picture of the options.

First, are there actually 3 ports in Lagos? Please which is the correct port to ship vehicles? Does the cost of clearance same in all these ports? If not which is the cheapest?

Yes first of all , Tincan Island port and Apapa port are under Lagos Port , we only have two ports of entry , if you are bringing in cars by RoRo , that’s means if you are bringing it on land without loading it in the container , the port of entry will be Tincan Island and there are only two shipping line and terminals that operates RoRo in Tincan island port , and these are Grimaldi multi service shipping Agency popularly known as PTML, they have their terminal and shipping company stationed at the Tincan Island and they are very reliable and fast in there services . The second terminal and shipping company that also deal With delivery of Autos at the Tincan island is Five Star Logistic Limited and there shipping company named Comet Shipping Agency while Five Star is their Terminal where Autos deliveries are taking .
